How come my Instagram account appears in the "find Facebook friends" link of Instagram?

On Instagram i go to the profile tab the first link says "Find Friends" i click on that and than it says on the second link "from Facebook" i click on that and my account shows up along with others that have connected them. Its really annoying to have people I know from school on my instagram. It where I get away from them but they always find me by my instagram being connected to Facebook. Is there a way I can unconnect it?

Help with connecting Instagram to Facebook?

Okay like Ive been having problems at first, the settings to my Instagram Photos on Facebook only allowed one of my friend to see it so I went on the app settings and I changed it so now whenever I post a photo it does show up on my news feed and people can see it! Only on my account, it shows my Instagram photos and I only have 2 photos, but then on my other friends accounts, like it shows the photo I uploaded to the news feed but when they click it the photo comes up but it shows that the photo is not in an album it just says " (Insert my first and last name) Photos" and it doesnt show up in a album.. like my Instagram photos album, only I can view it and no one else can??? How can I fix this. I really want to fix this and let everyone view my Instagram photos ): And when I try changing privacy for the album its different and says "You can change the audience for each photo in this album".. ): What dooo I do. Ive deleted the album and tried re-doing many times but it doesnt work!
Answer: I'm having the same trouble. I've put in a Report to Facebook about it. I checked the Help Center on Instagram and it seems to be a "known issue" that they've reported to Facebook. If you find an answer, please post it here so I'll know, too. (And anyone else who googles this problem)
