hi well let me start off with the fact that i live in a culdesac and that i am not sure if the house across from me is haunted. It is a 2 story house and for the past 5 yrs at least 5 families have moved in and out for some reason. When i was about 4 there was a car crash and the car landed on top of the garage which is at least 1 story high and idk if he died or not. Once my sister and her best friend (lives next door) were talking once on her friends porch and her bestie froze while talking and said she saw a woman in white and black hair and she disappeared when she looked back. The kids who lived there and live there now are my friends and we hang out/talk a lot. The girl who lived there before said she heard strange footsteps and voices calling out her name. I have been there a couple of times but havent noticed anything strange..but the people who lived there now have 5 kids, i believe..one girl said she woke up to a strange man with a knife standing over her sisters bedside staring at her and then disapperard. The guy, who is my age, said there was a bowl of soup on the table and nobody made it when the parents asked about it. So please help me guys..Oh and the girls found a buried tree that had a name scratched in it and they researched it on the internet and it was a civil war soldier. we believe that my area used to be a plantation back in the 1800s so please help me..and the address is 1000 radford court virginia beach va 23455 please research if you have time...

Please read this...My life started crashing last spring when my parents started arguing. Dad physically beat my mom... We were having some financial problems. My mother was having an affair with another guy at her work for two days, and my dad found out and he made her quit...they stopped talking and he kicked mom out. I didnt have a mom. My sister went with her. I didnt have her either. I was left with my abusive father. He always had this mindset that I liked mom better than him, and even though they were together, he told me that I better be the one that he likes more. I never understood why. Well mom and dad worked things out the best they couuld without divorcing. my sister moved back in. I had just turned 13. My boyfriend was cheating on me at the time, and I didnt know it. My sister was all the support I really had. She was my rock, she was always my hero even when I knew she was just staying strong for me...we were all caging in our emotions inside. Anyway, my dad is a heavy drinker. Thats an understatement...he is a hardcore alcoholic and he was last year too. So I think thats why he was always starting shitt with my mom. Well things didnt change until last summer. Wow. That summer changed my life. Somehow, a part of my heart is still stuck in a time warp of Summer 09. My sister got her license and wanted to go take us places, but my dad always interfered. Sometimes he would start drinking really heavily around the afternoon and by evening, hed be a slurring, angry mess. He got incredibly mad when drunk. I recall one evening my mom had to go to the grocery store and my dad stood at the door and blocked us; me, my mom, and my sister. He asked where we were headed to and mom told him, but he said, "Why cant we do something as a family for once?" and my mom replied, "Eric, we are just going to the store...we will be back in a while. Okay?" and my dad freaked out and he hit my mom and left, drunk, to go to the bar. We didnt know at the time where he was going, but we found out...my mom was not badly hurt. So we continued and got our grocerys. Dad came back at 1:00 a.m., yelling his arse off through the house, breaking things, yelling at my mother. He woke us all up and threatened to kill us all and bury us in shallow graves. so my sister called the police, we got our belongings and pets and packed them up in the car...my dad put a gun to my sisters face before the cops got to the house and before we left. To this day I remember him saying, "Its loaded." I remember the tightness of his thumb on the trigger .But he didnt shoot. The cops came and said my dad could stay at the house for a few more days then...well I dont remember. Some parts of last summer were a blur, and they scarred me so bad that i just dont know what happened. I guess I tried to forget everything. Me and my mom and sister went to new jersey. We live in West Virginia. Yeahh, long drive! I dont know why we went there of all places. There were plenty of local relatives houses we could have sought refuge in, but chose not to. It was 1:30 in the damn morning and we were headed to new jersey. it was beautiful there. we stopped by the beach. it was amazing. i never saw the ocean before. actually, i think that;s why we went to new jersey. like i said, it was a crazy mess. i loved it. my sister was so strong... We ran out of gas on the way back and she was running on E herself...over 14 hours of driving on no energy or sleep.we pulled over at a jamaican resturaunt in the middle of nowhere in delaware. i remember the sign saying "jerk chicken." and my sister banged her head agaisnst the steering wheel and screamed, "i cant do it, i cant do it!" she cried so long and then we realized that we had no money with us...we brought no money.but my sister had a gas card. we worked up enough strength to pull ourselves together and we used the last bit of gas to get to a small country-style gas station down the road. we got enough gas to get us to virginia where our rich grandmother lives... Grandma Judy used to be head of an egg art cooperation and then she retired... so we stayed there for a few days. on the way back home through virginia, we got news that my dog died. we saw lots of mansions when we were winding through the virginia hills by D,C. it was so amazing. the beautiful 7 story houses were just so large and there were so many. we finally got home and the rest of the summer my dad lived at his moms...we had to go to court a few times against him,,but i don;t remember much about that either. i remember that the local court building had large pillars and glass windows...god,,my memories are so dull. well now my mom has custody and i have visitation with dad. we still have financial problems. my sister is not my rock. Not anymore at least. Recently, she has quit her job and stopped making ends meet, which my mother (who i forgot to mention has a medical disability that limits her to few jobs) and i continue to strive to do. now everthing is just so different. she has become a totally different person. she hangs out with drug dealers. she wrecked her car and we are waiting to get it back. i have to rely on her even though she is unreliable. my mom doesnt have a lisence. im incredibly upest at the situation. i dont ask for pity. i just ask for advice! thank you! i know other ppl have worse situations. thanks in advance. once again, im 14 and i need someone to pray for me...thats the only thing i need because i pray and im just strapped into lifes roller coaster. i have no control over my situation. please help..thanks also, i know it is my sisters life and she should do what she wants but she was top ten in her school and she turned down a bunch of big colleges all for this life shes choosing and it is not good for her. i care about her and i pray for her because she can do so much better. I live in Virginia Beach. I heard a similar loud crack in the sky at 3:45 this morning, April 5, 2009 ... my mother heard it too. This was just a few hours ago, I was wondering if other people heard it too and what it was.
Answer: It's going to be really tough for me to figure it out with the limited details. The first couple of things that come to my mind are meteorological phenomenon or something electrical. I'm not sure if you have above ground power lines, but in my old neighborhood, we would hear a very loud "crack" or "pop" only to find out that a squirrel had gotten into a transformer. Could be cloud to cloud lightning, or some other electrical discharge involving thunder/lightning. There are probably many, many more suitable explanations as well. It's really difficult to get a feel for what you heard from that description.

Answer: I am confused as to why you think these are based on fanfics... Did somebody actually SAY they were at any point? Because from what I can tell, they seem to be original fiction. The site you directed us to does not say they are fanfiction, and it hosts both fanfiction AND original fiction, not to mention the fact that it seems to have 34 OTHER categories of fanfiction besides Twilight. So unless somebody actually said at some point that they ARE in fact BASED on Twilight, I'm not seeing how you're drawing this conclusion... All that being said, even if they were Twilight based, as another answerer mentioned, it is highly unlikely they are still up anywhere, as it would be pretty stupid for the author to leave a version of their book laying around the interwebs for free. Most likely, if they ever WERE up, they have been taken down at this point. In fact, their publisher would most likely MAKE them take it down if they were aware of it.

When Carol was discharged from hospital after six months of life-saving surgery, the prognosis was bleak. In order to save her legs, surgeons had been forced to cut away huge sections of shattered bone, taking with it her tall, willowy figure. She was confined to a wheelchair and was forced to use a catheter. Through sheer hard work, Carol learned to walk again. But when John McCain came home from Vietnam, she had gained a lot of weight and bore little resemblance to her old self. Today, she stands at just 5ft4in and still walks awkwardly, with a pronounced limp. Her body is held together by screws and metal plates and, at 70, her face is worn by wrinkles that speak of decades of silent suffering. For nearly 30 years, Carol has maintained a dignified silence about the accident, McCain and their divorce. But last week at the bungalow where she now lives at Virginia Beach, a faded seaside resort 200 miles south of Washington, she told The Mail on Sunday how McCain divorced her in 1980 and married Cindy, 18 years his junior and the heir to an Arizona brewing fortune, just one month later. I had 23 operations, I am five inches shorter than I used to be and I was in hospital for six months. It was just awful, but it wasn’t the reason for my divorce. ‘My marriage ended because John McCain didn’t want to be 40, he wanted to be 25. You know that happens...it just does.’ Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. Master Police Officer Bryan K. Womble, 36, allegedly failed three out of four field sobriety tests that were given to him following a 2 a.m. crash on Saturday. The car accident involved the officers Mitsubishi and another vehicle at the intersection of 20th Street and Pacific Avenue, according to police. No injuries were reported from the incident. Sergeant Scott E. Wichtendahl was allegedly listed as the officer who arrested the suspect, the Virginian Pilot reported. The sergeant is Wombles supervisor in the departments eight-man selective enforcement team. Last month Womble was the officer who arrested retired NFL star Bruce Smith on a DUI charge. The officer has reportedly been on the force since 2002 and made 70 DUI arrests in 2007. The suspects trial is set for July 27. Womble was reportedly released from jail on Saturday on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
