Do you know anyone who was a "Stock invester"? how they often act and why?
how do stock invvestors often act and why?
how popular stock investing is in Britain compared to the US among upper middle class?
and which percentage really make much money from stock market? starting when this became popular and why?
thanks for your answers!
Answer: Being a Financial Advisor I can say and from what I understand of your question. Stock investors are usually overly bearish or overly bullish in any market situation. Most of the time when you see a strong movement either way in the stock market it is an opportunity to buy or an opportunity to loosen up on certain positions. A lot more people invest in the stock market than you would think. Probably the two largest stock markets in the world are located in the United States and London as well.
in order to make money investing in stock you must devote a lot of time to research and analysis. There are always opportunities to make money in any type of market but you just need to find them. The people that make money by investing in stocks are the people that know what they are doing and when to do it. The stock market is one of the only ways where you can put in a certain amount of money and make 20...30...or a hundred percent + with you money being there for only a short period of time.

Could the stock sell off on Thursday have been caused by a willful act?
I noticed more than one big named stock dipped quite a bit. Do you think its possible someone was trying to put massive downward pressure on the market so a few big name stocks (AAPL, GOOG, or less expensive ones) were more affordable to buy up?
Answer: According to the newspaper it was an unintended error. Someone entered an order to sell of 5 billion shares of some company (I think Proctor and Gamble) and they intended to sell only 5 million shares. What ever happened caused mass panic but it did not last long. The market soon bounced back when they discovered the error. Problem is that many traders use computer programs to initiate trades. So if some stock hits some price level an automatic sell is entered.

Hi guys how does the safe harbor act apply to investors when they talk about thier stock on line?
what rights do investors who buy stock have when talking about thier company on line? Thank you !
Answer: The Safe Harbor Act includes safe-harbor provisions to protect companies which make financial and investment forecasts in public markets. As an investor you have the right of free speech to discuss your stocks. But you can get into a big trouble if you are trying to run a pump and dump scam which falls under what the SEC calls security manipulation.
This is usually done with penny stocks.

FUNDAMENTALLY; This Bull Market Is Hard To Pin Down
HISTORY says that standard bull markets typically have a shelf life of less than four years. Are Republicans in Washington violating the STOCK ACT by using information about the governments issues in?
Iran, along with massive SuperPAC contributions to manipulate commodities markets in their on-going effort to destroy the US economy prior to the 2012 elections?
We know this is clearly possible. Republicans have fought very hard to avoid disclosure of the amounts donated on behalf of candidates, as well as the ways in which those funds are used. If its possible, and its a vile under-handed and morally reprehensible means of swinging an election, that means Republicans in Washington are doing it. Therefore we have irrefutable proof that Washington Republicans are manipulating commodities markets and violating the Stock act in an illegal attempt to sway the 2012 election with high energy prices.
What punishment do you think would be appropriate for people like Karl Rove, Grover Norquist, and others who are assisting them in this process?

How does the stock market act as a forecast of future economic performance?
I have read articles from all over the internet disputing the relationship between the stock market and the economy, however I have yet found any good arguments supporting the link between the two. Please answer in detail.
Answer: I'm going to simplify my response a little because a full one would take the space of a book :-)
The stock market tends to "discount" the present. This is based on the EMH = Efficient Market Hypothesis which says that all available market information is already reflected in the stock prices because of the sophistication of the market and speed of information propagation.
Market participants (funds, investors etc.) then use forecasting models to try and determine how the business/economy/other market participants will affect future prices. It therefore uses things like companies earnings forecasts, macro economic conditions, interest rate changes etc.
Because of this future factors being taken into account the market is considered 'forward looking'.
Hope this gives you some initial understanding and enough terminology basis to research further if you're interested.
