Why did the feds bust BLAGO before he actually did anything really wrong?

Now Blago is claiming innocence as he did nothing wrong. Sure, broke a couple minor laws but why stop the investigation moments before it comes to fruition? Are you afraid of what you might find out? Answer: Since Patrick Fitzgerald's conviction rate is unbeatable..you can believe there is more than meets the eye on this story. The governor has been under investigation for several years, not just the last couple months. Rezko's activities and his indictment were just for starters. The governor is mixed up in many things, not just this. This just brings out those that are fearful and ready to sing rather than go to jail. In the last couple days, more is coming out. They found that Rezko's lawyer owns Obama's home, that Obama's house phone is tied directly to the Communist party, and Obama takes tax write-off's on his tax reports for a house he doesn't own. Then the other one sure to get noticed will be that 0bama and Ayers defrauded the Annenberg Estate Grants for 1.5 Million (or 150 M?) working together on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.
