If you look at the mental health history of Michelle Duggar you would see that she had a miscarriage and felt very guilty about it. DO you think that this guilt and feeling of failure and perhaps maybe even depression could have provoked her to go on this baby making spree that she has been on for the past 20 years? I recently heard that even though their baby was in the NICU fighting for its life she was already thinking of planning on when to have her next baby. This doesnt seem like normal behavior to me. I was wondering if there is any type of mental illness where a woman needs to be pregnant in order to feel fulfilled? I also wonder if she uses her christian faith as an excuse to create more babies even though she is really doing due to a mental illness. What do you think?

I also think that this is a hint saying, Your last baby was a preemie, and this one you couldnt carry, her body is telling her its enough.
Answer: She doesn't think logically or consider the health risks and living conditions for all those kids. She'll keep trying. The Duggars are idiots and a perfect example of being brainwashed by religion. They don't care that all those kids never have any peace and quiet, privacy, or can think for themselves without so many outside influences. Those kids also never asked to be in such a large family, or asked to have cameras following them. Duggars are exploiting their kids. The kids have no individuality and are forced to act alike. They all must do the same activities and follow the assembly line. They wear those stupid uniforms, and they make the girls wear dresses always. They are incredibly sexist. The woman teaches all those kids at home. She is not qualified as she only teaches according to what fits with her religion. It is not a good teaching strategy to teach all those kids, who are all different ages and learning different subjects, all at once. They are making their kids stupid like the parents. Those kids are missing out. The Duggars are isolating their kids from the real world, and they are teaching their kids to be intolerant and hateful. Because that's what religion usually does. The world is so over populated and there is so much pollution because of it. Animals are losing their natural habitats and becoming exticnt to make room for new construction to accommodate the growing population. There are so many starving and neglected children in 3rd world countries. Why couldn't they have done one good thing and adopt children who need homes? They expect free handouts and it's sick. They are the two ugliest people on the planet and made a heard of very ugly kids. That woman is just a cow used for breeding.

Answer: I agree. According to them it is all GOD's decision on how many kids they have. She will never get fixed and neither will he..you'd figure after all the last little baby went through that would've been the last straw. but i guess not!! She is just too old to have anymore babies.. the older she gets the more complicated things get with her and her pregnancies.. but she fails to realize that.. she just needs to tie her self up and let her kids grow up and give her grandbabies to love and spoil! Answer: i think they incredibly odd and i find them disturbing. i watched a few episodes of the show and was mentally scared. i definitely hope they dont have any more children, even though they have a nice house and seem to be caring, making them all dress and look the same and taking away their individuality i think is child abuse. i have not seen in any of the episodes i watched one of the kids freely expressing themselves. i wouldn't be surprised if they all grew up with severe mental problems from being raised like that.

Do you feel sorry for the Duggar children, like they are being forced to live in a cult-like situation?

For example, the girls all have to wear skirts and have long hair because their dad thinks this is most modest for a girl to appear. They are not allowed to dance because "a girl dancing puts ideas into the mind of young men, sexual ideas." and that was according to JimBob and Michelle Duggar. When an "immodestly dressed" woman walks by (and this could be a woman showing something simple as a little cleavage or a short dress), the girls shout out "NIKE!" which is the Duggar code word for "immodestly dressed woman walking by, all boys put your heads down and dont look!" They dont believe in birth control because Michelle Duggar believes that using the pill caused her to have a miscarriage many years ago. They preach at church about not taking BC pills for this reason. They say that they will have as many children as god intends them to have, and even after being warned by her doctors not to have anymore children, she went ahead and got prego again, with the prematurely born Josie Brooklyn Duggar. She was born weighing slightly more than 1 pound, and although it looks like she will live since shes made it this far, she was born 3-4 mos preemie and I find it incredibly irresponsible to go ahead and purposely let another pregnancy happen against doctors advice, resulting in this situation. So the other Duggars, I feel as if they are living in almost a cult-like situation. What do you think about the situation? I appreciate their strong sense of family, but I cannot get over their bizarre antics and ideas. Is it just me or does this situation seem dysfunctional and cult-like? Oh one more tidbit- They forbid their kids from watching TV 99.9% of the time but once in a great while they will get to see their parents on TV for an interview or special occasion. Yet they are ON TV making money for it! It doesnt make sense to me, and it seems so hypocritical. Opinions?
Answer: I wouldn't choose to have another kid if I were Michelle Duggar, but a lot of people who shouldn't be having more kids do. Is this something that Pro-Choicers really want to debate? I would think I would run away if I were in that family, but I suppose they could somehow convince me that theirs was a good way to live if I had never had true exposure to anything but. Personally, I think Jinger is going to become a stripper or porn star. How do you not expect that if you name your kid Ginger, with a "J" no less? As for hypocrisy...yeah, kinda. But isn't it hypocritical for millionaire celebrities to preach about Haiti? They've never been and will never be that poor. Live and let live, man.

Why do the Duggars have so many children?

I understand they are religious and them having a miscarriage so they felt it was a message from God. I dont doubt all the children are taken care of and that Jim Bob and Michelle DO love them but to me it seems they keep having baby after baby after baby. The older girls take care of the babies and toddlers, the boys do all the yard work and once again Jim Bob and Michelle are off to ultrasounds and new baby related activities. Why do they continue to have babies? Do they just really prefer them as newborns?
Answer: they read the part about 'go fourth and multiply ' . they missed the part about ' hurt not the earth , nor the trees , nor the seas ' . can you imagine the carbon footprint from that mob ?

Is Michelle Duggar mentally ill?

f you look at the mental health history of Michelle Duggar you would see that she had a miscarriage and felt very guilty about it. DO you think that this guilt and feeling of failure and perhaps maybe even depression could have provoked her to go on this baby making spree that she has been on for the past 20 years? I recently heard that even though their baby was in the NICU fighting for its life she was already thinking of planning on when to have her next baby. This doesnt seem like normal behavior to me. I was wondering if there is any type of mental illness where a woman needs to be pregnant in order to feel fulfilled? I also wonder if she uses her christian faith as an excuse to create more babies even though she is really doing due to a mental illness. What do you think?
Answer: I agree with you. By just watching her it is obvious that she is not all there. She looks to her husband like she cannot make a decision on her own. I wish she would get psych help and come to the realization that no matter how many children she has she will not bring back the one she conceived while on the pill. Her own body is telling her it is time to quit but she thinks god still wants her to bear more. I'm sorry, but I don't think so.
