Answer: I am just as disgusted...the first thing they did with the tapes was copy, edit, air....then call the authorities....in a report this morning they said they turned it over before it was opened....uh...hello, then why are we watching these clips? I read on some websites that the victims families are suing Virginia tech. Is this right or just... From my perception, Virginia tech feels the same way they do... so it seems like they are just tryin to make money off thier misfortunes. What do you all think?
Answer: True, some litigants just want to make money, however some want to make change. (See article link) Who is responsible? Do FERPA laws contribute to danger? Could legally armed citizen have stopped murders? Who contributed to the environment that caused, encouraged, exacerbated this incident? Should Cho have been forced to have medical/psyc care? Should he have been removed from campus? How much security is on campus? What is the nature of that security? Did the University have the "Duty" to protect the students? Who did have the duty to protect the individuals? Not all lawsuits are greedy. Some want to overturn dangerous policies.

Answer: It depends on what your explanation will be. If you have three separate causes that created three separate and unique effects, then go with that method. Be careful though, because it could look too much like a “shotgun” approach (when you try to cover everything but you end up covering nothing in depth). I think for this particular essay, you should thoroughly explore one cause and its effects, or multiple causes that created one effect. I think the more you can focus your essay, the better it will be. The best essays are when you thoroughly and completely analyze a topic and explain how your evidence supports your thesis, rather than just throwing out a bunch of facts that kindda sortta might support your thesis, but lack analysis. How does VIRGINIA TECH manage to win games when their offense is so terrible?

Im from the Blacksburg area and a huge fan of Virginia tech, but good God their offense is atrocious. They couldnt complete a pass to save their lives and Taylor is a horrible scrambler. Their defense hasnt been the greatest today either, and Im still waiting for some great Beamer ball on special teams. What do you think? Do you think theyre overrated?
Answer: You are saying the same thing that I'm thinking. I'm a huge Hokies fan from Chesapeake Va. and I'm still trying to figure this out. I think that we need to start hitting NC, SC, and MD a lot harder for recruiting. We aren't even getting the best players in VA anymore.

Im planning on transferring to the college of Architecture and Urban studies at Virginia tech from a two-year community college. For architecture major, i only have to stay for a year, and this is my first year. Im planning on majoring in Architecture. Architecture to me is not just a major or a profession its been the passion all my life. I also have exceptional talent in design and art. I have 3.8 Cumulative GPA Presidential Scholar Speaks almost 6 languages (multi-lingual): Fluent in Indonesian, Javanese, Sundanese, and i have skills and communicate in French and Arabic. I am multi-racial. Ive lived in three different countries.
Answer: Don't listen to Leo. For whatever reason we find routes into what we want in life. One way or another. You may want to apply to more than just one arch. program, since it will increase your chances (obviously) of getting in somewhere to pursue your passion. For what it's worth, I've known people to have gone to less known institutions, including jr. colleges, and end up at the most prestigious programs studying their field. e.g. an ex-girlfriend of mine has a brother who couldn't get into NYU for film off the bat so he studied for a year at Binghamton and did well, re-applied, and got in. He was very successful in completing the bachelors and works in LA now. He is also checking out UCLA's masters program. So, keep up the good work and diversify your applications, and you will probably get in somewhere, perhaps even "better" than VA Tech.

I live in Southwest Virginia and half the people either like Tennessee or they like Virginia tech...They always argue about who would win against each other. Some of the Tennessee fans say that they played Tech at one time and creamed them badly...Is this true? Will they ever play against each other in the regular season?
Answer: They played in the 1994 Gator Bowl. Tennessee won 45-23. Other than that, their only games were in the 1800s and early 1900s. Being that the Vols are in the SEC and the Hokies are in the ACC and there is not a rivarly between the schools, there's no reason to schedule them for a regular season game.

Answer: This has nothing to do with nationality. Anyone who had a life like this kid could have become this depressed and messed up. I suspect he had a bad childhood, maybe even was abused. Who knows, all we know is that he was messed up in his mind, and no one did anything about it, even though he was practically screaming for help.

How to get a full scholarship to VIRGINIA TECH and is it a good school for engineering mainly aerospace?

Hi there Im thinking about going to Virginia tech to study aerospace or aeronautical engineering and I was wondering how does one achieve to get a full scholarship there. Also is it a good school to study aeronatical and aerospace engineering. Im right now a junior so I wont be going to college until 2 years from now. All information would be helpful thank you.
