Answer: From a Warrior's Fan: The thing is, a lot of Warrior's fans don't know what they're talking about. Larry is not a good GM but he has finally made some moves that make him respectable, at least in my eyes. David Lee is a great player who fits in with our style of play. I think he'll be great playing alongside Stephen Curry and plus he will potentially strengthen the Warrior's rebounding issues. Many insiders speculate that this move is not beneficial because Lee is considered a below par defender. The truth is he played as an undersized center in New York. There is no question that he won't be able to keep up defensively guarding guys 3-4 inches taller than him. He'll start at the PF spot in Oakland. Many Warriors fans are complaining about this trade because we traded away some of our potential superstars. Anthony Randolph is a young kid who is off to New York now. He yet to reach his upside. Frankly, I think Warriors fans have a right to be angry about trading him away but I don't think he would have got anywhere playing for the Warriors. He doesn't get along with Coach Nelson is injury prone, and has some attitude problems. Ekpe is not a draft bust because he has not even played a single game yet.

Do you think that the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS owner should sell the team to a new owner?

Hey I wanted to ask you all if that do you think that the Warriors should sell the team to a new owner. The Warriors havent been sucessful over the past decade and they havent been to the playoff. I think that the owner of the Golden state warriors should sell the team to a new owner and if they do, they can be a competive team. It has happend to other teams. EX: Clevland Cavolers owner Gordan Gund sold the CAVS to a new owner and they have become succesfull.The Dallas Mavericks have become sucessful since Mark Cubin bought the team and the Sacremento Kings have become sucessful since those goons, The Maloof Brothers bought the team. So do you think that the Golden state warriorss owner should sell the team to a new owner?
Answer: The Golden state warriors haven't been to the NBA playoffs since 1994. They won one championship, back in 1975! So, what's wrong with the Warriors? Well, we all know what's wrong with them. They're not good enough for the tough Western Conference. They have decent, quality players, but lack GREAT stars. What's the solution? New owner, general manager, or coach? What the Warriors really need is a NEW ARENA, not necessarily a new owner and/or management. If the only feasible way the team can achieve that is to get a new owner and/or move to a new city, then so be it. As long as the Warriors remain in their current location in Oakland, CA, they will never get the necessary revenue needed to make significant, CONSISTENT, and SUSTAINED improvements. A new arena will bring in more crowds, more crowds will bring in more revenue, more revenue will allow them to attract and KEEP All-Star players, and more All-Star players will draw more marketing and media attention. More ESPN, TNT, and ABC coverage means even more $$$ and THAT will keep the team on a winning path. The Golden state warriors need to first OUTSPEND many of teams in the Western Conference, before they can outplay them. To conclude, the Warriors will have a greater chance of winning a championship in the future by accomplishing one or both: (1) Move to a brand new arena, OR (2) Relocate to the Eastern Conference.

Is it weird that I have never heard of the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS?

So i had posted something about never have hearing about the Golden state warriors. Soon after that I received a lot of rude messages talking about how Im not a true NBA fan (even though I only go for one team). The only thing Im bothered about at this point is how I had no idea this team existed.
Answer: "West Side" needs to brush up on his NBA history because the GS Warriors won the championship in 1975. To answer your question, yes it is a little weird you have never heard of the Warriors considering you are a basketball fan. I know the Warriors have sucked for the most part over the last couple of decades, but they have had some memorable moments and players. Don't you remember when the #8 seed Warriors "We Believe" team led by Baron Davis beat the #1 seed Dallas Mavericks back in 2007? That was one of the best playoff series ever.

Why do the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS have such a great fan base?

As bad as this team has been over the past 15 or so years, they seem to have very loyal and die hard fans. People in the Bay Area love this team and people cheer like crazy at their home games. Im just curious. What is it about this team that people in the Bay Area love so much? Why do the Golden state warriors have such a great fan base?
Answer: not everyone has to cheer for and bandwagon the lakers or the heat i think its good that they are loyal they have real fans. as soon as the lakers have a losing season they will be booed like hell by some.

Answer: it's worth whatever someone else will pay for it. and if that were a lot of money, you probably wouldn't want to sell it right now. i'd give you a dollar for it if i saw you... and i know Richardson's career and his value, wish the Warriors wouldn't have gotten rid of him. but i wouldn't go to the trouble of buying it online. it ain't exactly a winning lottery ticket.
