Is It True This Jan. 23rd Will Global Internet Goes Off?
Protest let the entire world without internet
Large companies such as Wikipedia, Facebook, Google and Twitter will join the protest that "turn off" the internet in the world next January 23rd
United States
On January 23rd, the largest Internet companies led by Google, Facebook and Twitter, plus others such as Amazon and Wikipedia, would advance a blackout of their websites in protest against the enactment of the law called SOUP (Stop Online Piracy Act).
The aim of this radical means of protest is to show what it could mean anti-piracy law being debated these days in the U.S. Congress, say, limit and hinder the existence of many Internet companies.
"People need to understand the effect this will have on legislation concerned Internet users," said Markham Erickson of NetCoalition, the anti-soup in which all firms are listed.
At the moment there is still no decision about whether to use this "nuclear option" of protest, which certainly would give all the visibility SOUP seeking his detractors as firms shall assess all the consequences (wrath of the users, losses, etc) are worth it. It is, as noted from CNET, to make clear to the user why Google does not work. The 23 days will tell if the Internet goes final.

Is there any hard evidence muslims caused 9/11?
Is there? Sure al-qaeda might have claimed responsibility, but what about the 2003 northeast power outage? They also claimed responsibility for that, but it turned out that it was merely an overloaded generator, caused by carrying too much current between the wires. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeast_Blackout_of_2003#Affected_infrastructure.
Al-qaeda had nothing to do with that, they just jumped at the chance to claim they did it to increase their infamous reputation. They probably did the same thing at 9/11. Even if Osama said that he did not mean for the towers to collapse, isnt it possible that he just made it up to make it seem mroe genuine? Back to the main question; Is there any straight up proof that muslims caused it? Was there a camera on the plane, or was there a tape recorder in which the muslims on board said we hijacked it and are going to crash it into the WTC? This is only for the WTC. No Pentagon or Shanksville please.
@ Ferfer whats with the fake website?
Did anybody even bother to read the details?
What kind of crap is that? Are you trying to slither your way out of the real question? Lets not discuss Obama, and discuss the actual question. IF you have a problem, dont post anything just leave. I never knew people could be so narrow-minded...

@ John can you please provide a link?
@ Erica you gave nothing to support your answer, and to make it seem more truthful you put a bunch of nonsense on how they converted on the plane? How desperate can you get?
ALMOST everyone has put nonsense with no proof to try to snake their way out. Like it said, if you are in angry tears because you cant find anything to contradict me, just go away. Dont embarrass yourselves please.
Answer: This question is rather vague. So we have the list of hijackers (a mix of genetic matching, hard work, airport photos, etc). So we know the identity of the hijackers. We know they are all of Arab decent and were brought up as "Islamic" i.e. Muslim.
Hard evidence that at the time of their death they were Muslim? What, like they converted to Christianity or perhaps Unitarian at some point between leaving Saudi Arabia and boarding the plane? No - no evidence for that. They were born, grown up, fundamentalism, and died as Muslims.
If the reporting on the subject, all since 9/11 as well as the 9/11 commission report, wasn't "hard enough" for you. . then I am afraid you will never find a source to put your mind at ease. You will always find reasons not to believe in order to fulfill whatever psychological need you have. So, really, it does not good asking for proof.
attached wikipedia article, that notes lots of details/reference regarding responsibility.

When did the Space Shuttle often experience a communications blackout? Did NASA do anything about it?
If there is a reliable source, can you please list it? no wikipedia, please.
Answer: LOS - Loss of Signal - Very common occurance in the space program. It occurs when the capsule (shuttle) cannot receive radio communication from ground control. Apollo flights behind the moon and every re entry. Obviously the moon blocks the radio signal and Apollo 8 was tedious since it would be the first time that humans were both out of sight and sound of earth. The early Mercury flights were tedious during re entry, as well as Gemini, Apollo and Shuttle. As the spacecraft re enters the atmosphere, it heats up, and ionizes tha air around it. This ionization sets up a temporary "Faraday Cage". (Same effect that stops radio signals in a metal building and protects you from lightning in your car) AOS (acquisition of Signal) returns after this phase passes.

How serious are infrequent heart palpitations, the most recent followed by a near blackout?
Ive had a few occurrences of heart palpitations (heart racing), but they are very infrequent. Ive had them a couple of times while laying down resting, but I think Ive only had that happen 2 or 3 times. Anyway, today I was at a birthday party where I was standing most of the time. At one point I felt my heart start to race and then things started going black. I was leaning against a wall, and tried to focus on taking deep breaths. After a couple of seconds I got my vision back, but I was seeing spots... and then a few seconds later I was fine. The other moms that I was talking to didnt even notice (I dont think). I was mostly thinking, "Dont fall down. Dont fall down." Because that would have been really embarrassing. Basically Im wondering how serious this is? Im an overweight 26 year-old non-smoking female with no other health problems. I used to drink a ton of diet soda, but Ive recently cut back and now have maybe 1-2 caffeinated drinks per week. BUT today I happened to have TWO. I know caffeine can be a factor with heart palpitations.
Wikipedia says, "Actual blackouts or near blackouts, associated with palpitations, should be taken seriously because they often indicate the presence of important underlying heart disease."
Should I do something? I dont have health insurance. Or should I just avoid caffeine and eat as healthy as possible?
Answer: Syncope is the term for 'fainting'. What you experienced is near syncope and it is a serious concern. Indeed the most common cause of sudden death in young people is a heart rhythm disturbance. That is why many schools, colleges, airports, and airplanes now have automatic electro defibrillators. The heart rate is an electrophysiologic phenomenon. Some people have heart muscle fibers that are 'irritable' or 'excitable'. If these are triggered the electric impulse passing through the heart your heart rate may immediately accelerate to 200 beats per minute or even more. This is referred to as a reentrant tachycardia. Reentrant tachycardias may occur in people whether or not they have palpitations. When the heart beats that fast there is not time for it to fill with blood so that the heart is not really pumping an adequate amount of blood to maintain your blood pressure. Weakness, lightheadedness, dizziness, and syncope may result. A near syncopal episode always requires evaluation by a physician to determine whether or not you are at risk for sudden death. I would take this very seriously until your physician has determined otherwise. Caffeine is not likely to be an issue here. I very much like wikepedia and I am a contributing writer. If you need additional information please contact me at johnerussomd@jhu.edu. I wish you the very best of health and may God Bless.
