I have a question about twins and DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME?

If a mother is giving birth to twins on day light savings in the fall, and the first twin is born at 1:58 A.M., and the second twin is born 3 minutes later, at 1:01 A.M., due to the time change, who is older? This is not a riddle, just wanted to know peoples opinions on it, kind of boggles my mind a little, haha.
Answer: Einstein said time is relative, but it's obvious that the twin born at 1:58 daylight time is older than that born at 1:01 standard time. You can write a letter to your state's Bureau of Vital Statistics requesting that both infant's birth certificates are recorded in standard time. Explain your reason clearly in the letter.

Is Microsoft pushing out updates for the Day light savings time issue? Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time (DST) will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual. This results in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years. Unless certain updates are applied to your computer, the time zone settings for your computers system clock may be incorrect during this four-week period. In particular, you must make sure that both your Windows operating system and your calendar programs are updated. I am getting tons of update related calls for computer issues; It is causing issue with loading the XP page. What are the fixes?
Answer: This should be your answer right here. This site I listed below will give you a patch or a program to run that will fix your time permanently for the new DST times so you won't have to mess with them ever again unless for some dumb reason they decide to go and change DST all over again, but I kinda doubt it. Anyway go to this site select home user, then select your operating system and then follow instructions. If running XP and you have AUTOMATIC UPDATES turned on the you should already be fixed and not have to mess with your time cause it installs the patch you need for the fix back in February. If it's not fixed then use the link below it fixed both my XP and 2000 computers and it's even a Microsoft site. To find out your version of Windows right-click on My Computer and go to Properties and your version will be listed there. If your running 2000 then you will have to run the program from this site below to fix the problem. And trust me it does work!!!

Answer: Yes, I remember that after the 1973 OPEC oil embargo we had year round DST. I remember a lot of parents being worried that all the kids had to walk to school in the dark. Seriously, I don't see how it saves any energy. You just turn your lights on an hour earlier than usual. At work, we usually have as many lights on whether it is light or dark out.

What is the point of DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME?

I really hate Day light savings time. We have to get up earlier with not that mush more sleep, we have to reset our clocks, it throws people of sleeping schedule, it does not save any energy, etc. And yet everybody uses it anyway, what is the point of it!?!?
Answer: first, it does save energy. really. The idea is to maximize daylight when people are active. that's from morning until after dark. if it gets dark later, fewer lights are turned on. relatively few people get up early enough to have to turn lights on in the morning. it's beneficial to switch the day so there's more light later, rather than earlier. I've read that it was Ben Franklin's idea. although at that time, they were saving candles, not electricity. and candles are relatively more expensive. Edit: <> WOW. I always thought that in the winter it was dark when we got up and went to bed because the days were shorter. I had no idea that daylight savings time was the real culprit. Sure glad I participated in this question. Also, it would appear that thumbs up/down are more an indication of whether the thumber likes or dislikes DST, as opposed to an indication of how informative the answer was.

Answer: I don't know the answer for you, but I'd recommend calling the cellphone provider you have (i.e. AT&T) and talk to their technical support people. They can often explain or provide a fix for problems like that. Often times it's just an update to the cellphone's firmware to fix problems like that, that they can walk you through.

Answer: The entire hour of 1:00 to 2:00 am, is repeated. If you call time, you will hear: "At the tone the time will be...one, fifty nine, and fifty seconds...BEEP... At the tone the time will be...one, o'clock, exactly...BEEP" This does not mean we're getting free time from nowhere or going back in time, or whatever. It just means we are changing our clocks.
