I am going to the 2012 Mens Final Four March 31- April 2 and I was wondering if anyone from New Orleans new what to do around that time like is best to fish, go to the beach, and amusement parks anything fun because im not from New Orleans also aquariums anything fun.

It is part of the public transit system, as are the Canal Street and Riverfront streetcar lines There is always music, but the bands change: Note that music clubs often advertise "No Cover", meaning there is no charge for entering. However, clubs with "No Cover" often require that customers buy a beverage each for every "set" of music (which can be every 20 minutes) so KNOW THE PRICE before you sit down. Clubs do that because some people will sit in the club all evening drinking nothing (clubs only make money from the drinks they sell - not from the music). It is also a good idea to pay for each round of drinks (in clubs on Bourbon Street) as it is delivered so there can't be any confusion at the end of the evening. The question is who do you think will win this years final? I would like to start by saying that this years final will be held at the Allianz Arena and this is the home of Bayern Munich. In my opinion the four teams that will be in the semi finals are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AC Milan. I have not included Arsenal and Chelsea because I believe Chelsea are still getting used to the way there manager wants them to play and are not strong enough at the moment. I as an Arsenal fan believe we are good enough to beat Milan at the emirates but not over both legs. I would prefer if we just concentrated on securing a top four finish and this will be difficult with tottenham In good form. Getting back to the champions league the ideal final that everybody wants Is Real vs Barcelona and I for a little while was one of them. I for one do not want to see Barcelona win back to back champions leagues as the fact that no team has won this cup in current format is what makes this cup special. I believe the fact that the final is at their stadium will be extra motivation and some of you may laugh but I believe Bayern will be one of the teams in the final. A little while back I would have said Madrid would be the other team but recent press conferences from Mourinho indicate that he would rather win the la liga then the champions league. As far as Milan are concerned they have got their best team that they have had for years now and with maybe Tevez arriving, he will add to the already brilliant attack of Ibra, Pato and Robinho. I think Milan will fancy their chances. So what do you think?

Four Continents Figure Skating 2012 opinions/thoughts and predictions for Worlds?

I always love hearing other skaters and fans opinions on competitions (performances and results). We only got to see the competition yesterday and today, so thats what made me want to post this question. Ill start with my thoughts, and then I cant wait to read everyone elses :) Ice Dance: This is the event I follow the most closely, because its basically me figuring out my possible future competition. Im really sick of the Davis and White vs Virtue and Moir. Frankly, this season, I cant stand either of them. I do think V/M are better overall, but D/W are more consistent. Both skated well; I would have been happy had either of them won. Ok, not happy. Indifferent. Now, for Weaver and Poje... yay for them! I honestly cant pay attention to their feet on the free dance because the performance is so good. However, they need to hold their lifts longer. It looks sloppy when they rush through. Im glad they won. I actually didnt hate the Shibutanis as much as I usually do. I was impressed with how Alex held through to the end before he collapsed. I wish Paul and Islam have skated better, but theyre young; they have time to improve. Hubble and Donahue... meh. Dont love them. Theyre kind of sloppy. Mens: No surprises with Patrick, but at least he earned it this time. I wasnt surprised by Takahashis 2nd place; also expected. But I was very impressed by Ross Miner. Although I dont think he skates to the music in his LP very well. its a shame that the Japanese man, Mura something, had a poor LP. I thought he would medal after the SP. Pairs: After the disappointing results of the Canadians after the SP, I couldnt watch the LP. Not even sure of the final results. Im very sad for Meghan and Eric; they were so happy after nationals, and it just all fell apart. Hoping they can pull it back together for worlds. Ladies: ZOMG SO HAPPY FOR ASHLEY! I smiled ear to ear for a good hour after she won. She deserved it. Both her skates were beautiful, and the triple triple in the short! Good for her! I hope she can pull off the same performance at worlds. I thought Mao skated well, aside from the few glitches, so I was surprised that Ashley placed above her. Im most interested to see the Ladies competition at worlds, because anything could happen. I dont want to talk about Amelie and Cynthia... bad skates from them both, but Amelie will go to worlds, not Cynthia... poor girl :( She always looks so sad when I see her, and I assume shell be even worse now. Worlds Predictions: Ice Dance: The typical battle of the americans/canadians. Third is really up for grabs. Probably either the French or the other Canadians will get it. Pairs: Germany vs. Russia for first and second, and again, its anyones game for third. The Canadians, Chinese, or Russians could take it. Men: Patrick Chan has gold in the bag. Silver and Bronze could be anyone, really, but Im thinking Gachinsky, Takahashi, and the like. Women: Probably Kostner for gold, Mao or Ashley for silver, and the same for Bronze. Maybe one of the Russians will sneak up on them, but I doubt it. Your turn! Answer: I didn't get to watch any of 4CC because NBC doesn't show it on TV (blahhhh) and my mom wouldn't let me get an IceNetwork subscription for it (blahhhh again.). I did keep up with it from live blogs and Twitter feeds though. I agree with you, the V/M vs D/W rivalry is getting old. I don't particularly like any of their programs this year, hopefully next season one team will have a clear edge over the other and both will have good programs (with the Yankee Polka SD next year, should be better programs... Or else very cheesy ones.). I wanted Meryl and Charlie to win mostly because I'm American, my mom met Meryl and got her autograph, and because of Scott's whiny remarks after the Grand Prix Final. That made me really not like him as much... Anyways, I'm indifferent about their placements. From what I heard, W/P really skated their hearts out, so good for them. I heard Alex almost collapsed after the FD (I looked on YouTube, couldn't find any videos of their FD at all. Do u know of any?), so not a big disappointment for them or anything, I expected W/P to place above the ShibSibs. I expected the Chinese to place over D/C in pairs, and I thought that M/B would medal as well. I had thought Meghan and Eric would skate really well and be near the top, so I don't know what happened to them! I don't follow pairs that much, so no opinions on the others. I'm so happy for Ashley too, but I totally expected Mao to place first! Caroline Zhang was the real surprise, who knew she would ever medal at a big international event? Good for her! I hope that if the US ladies skate that well at Worlds, we'll get the 3rd ladies spot back for next season, or at least for 2013-2014 season. Of course Patrick got first, at least he deserved his score this time- no 300pt Chanflation like at Can. Natls. I expected Daisuke in 2nd, but Ross in 3rd was a surprise! I'm also so mad at USFSA for sending freaking Richard Dornbush when he placed freaking 11th or something at US Nationals. Why couldn't they have sent Armin instead? Stupid people. I'm not very surprised with these results except Ross, I expected him in the top 6, but not on the podium! Worlds predictions: I'm just going to do my top placements, not explanations, that will take too long and I need to go to bed soon. For the Final Four, you can buy the Semifinal Session (both games), just the Final, or an All-Session Strip to see all three games. Use SeatsPro.com. Answer: I believe the favorites to win are Kentucky and Ohio State I have Ohio State and Louisville though i think that Kentucky has too many freshmen and will choke on the big stage but that's just my personal opinion
