Should JOHN MCCAIN & the republican party start their attacks on Barak Obama?
As of now Barak Obama seems to be the frontrunner with his win in Wisconsin, is he ready for the fight that is ahead of him? The media gave Barak a free ride on the issues and has let his campaign slide like butter so far. As a democrat I will never vote for Barak and am leaning towards John mccain. Should John mccain & the republicans start shredding his empty rhetoric of "hope" and give him the spanking the media failed to do?
Answer: sure. It's never too early to start slinging mud.

How did JOHN MCCAIN use the Internet in the primary election & how did the Internet help Howard Dean?
1. How did John mccain use the Internet to quickly leverage his victory in the 2004 New Hampshire primary election?
2. Using Howard Deans 2004 campaign, how was the Internet an effective tool at raising funds from large OR small donors?
I really need help on this. Im not asking anyone to do an assignment for me, this will just help me with my gov project. Any help is appreciated thank you!
Answer: I wasn't really following the Republican Primary that closely because, as a Democrat in a State with a late primary, I was more worried about whether or not Hillary Clinton, once considered the overwhelming favorite, still had a shot against the increasingly successful Barack Obama. I voted Clinton because of her experience, but that's not part of your question.
However, I was paying close attention in 2004 to Joe Trippe, Howard Dean's campaign manager. I voted for Dean even though Kerry had already secured the nomination by the time my State voted. Trippe revolutionized the use of the internet to attract an army of small donors, a strategy further used by Dean in the sweeping 2006 mid-term election when he was the DNC Chairman, giving Democrats control of both houses of Congress. Control of the Senate was considered a real long-shot and Dean's leadership was largely responsible for the take-over, setting up for the 2008 campaign. Obama, working with Dean, who was then finishing up his 4-year tenure as DNC chair, perfected the strategy. Though they often disagreed on many issues (Dean was believed to be a Clinton supporter, though as the DNC chair he would never openly support either candidate against each other in the primary), Obama was a huge supporter of Dean's use of the internet and expanded upon it considerably.

What is JOHN MCCAIN going to do to create more jobs for Americans?
What is John mccain going to do to create more jobs for Americans?
Please go as in depth as possible.
Answer: Economics 101 due here.
-Who creates the majority of jobs in the US? Who? I think you got it, Small Business
-Why do Small Business' create new jobs? Just because they feel like it? I don't think so. Last time I checked they add people due to an increase in sales.
-What increases sales? People with less money? I don't think so. Well then, how do people get more money in their pocket. They have jobs that in most cases small business created. Kind of like a round robin.
-What happens when small business cost go up? Probably- that's right! They raise prices or cut jobs.
-Well then, what causes small business cost to go up? Do you think higher taxes might be one cause?
-So, what is the best method any government has to create jobs?
-Don't raise taxes - don't increase the corporate tax rate. ( The US has the second highest corporate tax rate in the world. Who's higher? Japan. I guess you already know Japan's economy is tanking.
Bottom line, I seem to recall McCain stating he is against raising taxes on small business ( of course you know a great deal of small businesses make more than $250,000- Oh wait, Obama changed that to, was it $200,000, no I think it was changed again to $150,000. Is that his current number? Or has he change that one again? See a trend here?) and lowering corporate tax rates.
What's Obama want to do. That's right! Raise those taxes. That will help the key job creaters to hire more.
Economics 101 is now over.

Answer: McCain was right about the surge; He's visited Iraq many times
Obama was wrong about it. Never viisted Iraq
McCain served in the U.S Navy from 1958 to 1981 with a variety of international postings, most notably combat duty in Vietnam. In his Senate career he has dealt with international issues while serving on the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation (where he also serves on the global climate change subcommittee).
As a child, Obama lived four years in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Obama has visited many spots around the world vital to U.S. interests including Russia, Kuwait, Iraq, and Israel among others. How can JOHN MCCAIN justify the flip-flop on deregulation after having been such a strong advocate for it?
It really is politics as usual when John mccain can all of a sudden over turns his own positions on free trade in a desperate attempt to please the left and the liberal media which has slowly but surely brought his campaign down to its knees. I feel like my party is letting me down. I really dont understand exactly how it is we can tag Obama as a socialist, when our most beloved President Bush has enacted a page straight from the hand book of socialism itself with the biggest government intervention on Wall Street ever recorded.
Answer: I would not listen to what anyone in America as to say about socialism. Some time in the past democratic socialism got tied into communism, probably during the McCarthy-ism days. Socialism is not bad. Since when is health care and college education for all bad? I've lived in a socialist country, Sweden, and it is not like how people have made it out to be. There aren't people getting beaten in the streets and starving orphans working in factories. When the people are left to their own devices and the market is allowed to run free with limited gov. regulation...looks what happens!!
As with any politician, McCain is lying about alot of his policies in order to get votes. He is such a maverick that he is adopting policies that the democrats have favored...further proof that an unregulated market will run itself into the ground.
I honestly do not understand why anyone who is not filthy rich would vote republican. If you don't run a Fortune 500 company, they don't give a damn about you, and never have. Stop with this capitalism bull crap, you, along with 90% of Americans are too broke to vote Republican.
It is not the "liberal" media that has brought McCain's campaign to his knees. It could be drug through the dirt if the democrats didn't play as nice as they have been. There are so many flaws with McCain's campaign it is not even funny. What liberal media? Fox News? O'Reilly Factor? Hannity? Limbaugh? That bitch Ann Coulter?! I see no liberal media. In fact the conservatives have gone out of their way to push their views on people. There is no comparing a spoof on SNL to the amount of crap that the conservatives have put out.

What exactly are some of the differences between John mccain and George Bush. Ive heard that he is very different on the issues.
Answer: McCain is more liberal than Bush, has a better ability to be bipartisan, has a very different past record - both military & political, and has a much different demeanor. They both agree on finishing things in Iraq, but that's about the only thing they agree on. As to Iran, Clinton is probably the closest in position to Bush. She has taken the harshest position on defending Israel if necessary.

How could JOHN MCCAIN recommend Bushs economic strategy in light of the disaster of our current economy?
Bushs five year plus Iraq War debt is being transferred on to the next generation of tax payers, This is not a workable or responsible policy? Why would John mccain continue the same policy? It seems the only thing Republican about this policy is the plan to spend tax payers money on waging a war of occupation, or could we say domination? Why do so?
Answer: It's a good question.
Clearly we have an economic catastrophe on our hands, and for McSame to advocate continuing the current Commander-In-Thief's economic policies is, at best, rather naive. At worst it is cynical pandering to the right wing fascists whose votes he needs to occupy the White House.
No true conservative supports what Dubya Gump has done these last few years. No true conservative would ever vote for an advocate of continuing the same exercise in failure.
What do they say about a person who keeps doing the same thing over and over expecting different results?
Yeah.

How does JOHN MCCAIN plan on paying for five more years of war in Iraq?
Today, John mccain said that he sees victory in Iraq by 2013. Lets pretend for a minute that we can "win" by then. How does John mccain plan on paying for this war if hes opposed to raising taxes?
Answer: Obviously lowering taxes on the rich stimulates the economy... somehow? Uhhh... because it lets Paris Hilton buy more Coach bags, which leads to more Coach bags being made in... wait, they're not American. Trickle down economics? Let me try again.
McCain will pay for the war by (shakes Magic 8 ball) hosting a bake sale at the Lincoln Memorial!
Man, I'm glad 1.8 BILLION dollars a week are being spent on the Iraq war and not on improving the infrastructure of the US economy. It would suck to have those funds go towards our deteriorating freeways, collapsing bridges, and developing new sources of energy. And there's no rush to bring the troops home and reunite families and loved ones either.
Ok, I'll answer seriously: McCain in all likelyhood doesn't have a plan to pay for the war, and if elected would slash social programs and raid social security and medicare to pay for the war without raising taxes.

When is JOHN MCCAIN likely to be officially declared the Republican candidate?
I know its really just a formality at this stage, it looks like hell definitely get nominated, but when is John mccain likely to be officially declared the Republican candidate? Whens the earliest this could happen? And whens the latest?
Answer: He has officially secured the nomination once he reaches 1191 delegates, which he may reach at March 4th at the soonest, but likely later.
The poster above me (TBoxer) is incorrect in saying that once Romney's delegates are released, McCain will win the nomination. Released delegates are not pledged delegates, no matter what the 'owner' says. They can vote for anyone theoretically, they are not pledged until they vote in the convention.
To specifically answer your question McCain won't get the formal nod until May.There is only one primary in April. Due to a lack of winner-take all states, it is realistically impossible for McCain to 'win' before May. (By realistically, I mean he's not unless he takes 100% of the vote). At the latest, it won't be until July.
Also: Don't expect Huckabee to drop out, he's picked up 500,000 in donations in the last few days(which might baffle some observers). It's just realistically not going to happen.

Is JOHN MCCAINs life story the greatest threat to the Democratic candidates?
I heard that priority #1 of the Democratic party is ensuring no one learns what John mccain has actually done in his life.
Is his story that dangerous?
Answer: depends upon what the majority of voters in this country think is important right now; decisions are based on impulse and short attention span, and a general sense of nihilistic thrillseeking. Forget sex; it's violence people want (maybe a little like the 20th century modernists, but much less interesting). Those who are infatuated with an idealized international socialism under the banner of a rather dubious unknown Leader of the People in the name of projected "change" are only going to despise hearing a biography like McCain's; his moderate character throws a monkey wrench in the facile Marxist fairy tale. Many do not comprehend the "old school" greatest-generation era thing; for some reason celebrity riches are OK, even crooked huckstering; what they want is some "kid on the streets" STORY. That's why they don't ridicule Obama for lying about having a goat herder for a father, and yearn to believe he was toughing it out on the streets of Chicago, rather than being mentored by the same activist who mentored Hillary Clinton. (Personally, I believe goat herding is an honorable profession, and the company is much better than that chosen by many who enter politics.)
But I digress. For them, John mccain is more frustrating to them, and on a deeper level, than Mike Huckabee, or Mitt Romney, because McCain is more difficult to stereotype or summarize. McCain's cultural "essence" is very difficult for, ahem, outside interests to summarize and then propagandize against; they won't "get" him insofar as those who DO recognize that essence. So McCain's essence is evasive, because it is rare, especially in these here days.
In any case, McCain is a manifestation of their "other path," the one that was rejected, and goshdurnit, he did just fine, he's not an evil CEO, and he's the most jovial fellow running. And, many of them know (but they won't let the young folks find out) that McCain has the best education and experience---that old school kind that they either rejected or never could become a part of. He has an formidable vocabulary, an honesty of expression, obviously does not provide aid and comfort to enemies, and can think on his feet. And he's rich. And he doesn't seem particularly hungry or personally ambitious. How irritating.
Back in the day they would have called this "good breeding" (not PC to say such things now) McCain's family legacy is a venerable one, now perhaps recognized, sadly, by fewer and fewer people in an age where "American Idol" passes for culture. This spirit is one of personal accountability and responsibility to others as an inherent code of personal honor; the other side, although a product of "me first" and "freedom" from responsibility, ironically seeks outer authority in the form of the collective.
for many of them, the threat is not just to the candidates, but to everything they represent---the entire geist, self-verification, reason to exist. thats why it is so nasty; no matter how much sordid garbage comes out against Obama, they will defend their position , because for many it is the last chance to prove that they knew better than mom and dad (i.e. those of McCain's generation) The younger voters are not the people driving this; this is a last showdown that began 40 years ago, and they are willing to go down in a ball of flame and take everyone---you, me, their kids, our kids, with them, because they cannot face the idea that their intentions were not so great...as if winning an election through propaganda and the money of deluded billionaires validates whatever ideals were there some time ago but have become hazed and sour, stagnant or corrupt. Notice the difference between the vigorous popular culture circ 1968 and that of today (lipsyncing???)? Even when one didn't agree with the political views, the presence of ingenuity and creative urge could not be denied.
Today we are seeing ersatz; the "creativity" is blunted and confused by ambition for money and glitz; there is no whimsey, no humor; none of these young people would work up a sweat in order to build a commune; they just want an adrenaline rush and to feel like grownups (never seen so many socialist wanna-bes embrace the term "elite" in my life---no hammers held there!). Well, give them their thing; it is time for some quality art and culture to germinate and sprout again, and it likely will, as it always does underground in situations where people are coerced into conformity; look at the bright side perhaps we will be treated to an art movement like those following the surreal horrors of WWI----hundred year cycle, folks
