Did anyone watch DIA FRAMPTON vs that chick Serabee on The Voice?
Any one else find it hilarious?
Answer: I actually found it very bizarre and I think Blake used questionable judgement for pitting them against one another. Serabee was over the top but that is just who she is. She was the better singer and performer of the two and Blake ultimately punished her for being herself. Dia was the obvious underdog and I think that's why he chose her. Dia won't fare well in the live shows, in my opinion.

How do you think "the Voice" finalists, DIA FRAMPTON and Javier Colon will do in their careers?

Answer: Javier will enjoy moderate success until he recieves radio mainstream and will recieve huge success. Now, Dia... I love her voice, personality, and her innocence she possesses. She had a taste of the music world and should stay solo rather than work with Meg. If she stays solo, she should find HUGE success in the music industry. If I had to choose one, Dia frampton will garner a big, BIG fanbase. I will fork over $$$ for Dia than Javier for sure. I think Javier won by 2% because the people bought into his "needing to support his family" gimmick while Dia was always 1100% all about the music, which you all heard all of her covers made the originals like crap. Dia's "Heartless" was by the far the best cover/song of The Voice!!

Dia at the Roseland BallroomDia frampton (born October 3, 1987) is the lead singer of the band. She attended Dixie High School in St. George, Utah and Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas, Nevada; she graduated early by also homeschooling her senior year at the same time attending public school for her junior year in 2005 then moved to Salt Lake City with her sister to further their music career. She cites as influences Modest Mouse, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Joni Mitchell, The Avett Brothers, Rocky Votolato, Ben Folds, Etta James, Death Cab for Cutie, The Cranberries, and The Cursive.[23] During live performances, Dia plays percussion instruments, such as the cowbell and tambourine, and occasionally a Casio Privia keyboard. She almost always performs without shoes on. Dia often recorded a "song diary," an impromptu recorded song, on her MySpace page. She explained, "It was something very raw, and to be honest, something that I was slightly embarrassed to put up because of the quality but I did anyways, for any of our listeners who would care to hear something not hot off the production belt, but something more organic and 'home made.' It made me feel better to share my feelings with people who could connect, and I think that is what happened with many."[24]
Dia was featured in "Where Are You Now?", a song by The Summer Set. The song was released on the band's album, "Love Like This", on October 13, 2009.
Dia was the second place finisher on the first season of The Voice on NBC, selected by coach Blake Shelton who said "when I heard your voice, I started to smile." Dia sang the song "Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat for her blind audition on Week 2. In the season finale, she was declared the runner-up against Javier Colon (winner). She sang "Inventing Shadows", an original song written just for the finale of the show. The song hit #1 on iTunes after it was released.

Answer: Warner dropped Meg and Dia. Therefore making them an independent label.
No one owns Dia, therefore she is able to compete.
The reason for her auditioning?
Why not, i mean being an band with no label is VERY hard. Their last years EP "It's always stormy in Tillamook" and their latest album "Cocoon" they paid all by themselves. You know how expensive that is? And also Dia has an amazing voice, that I believe can win the show!

ive never watched that show! but i know the band meg & dia from when i went to warped tour a few years ago and they performed monster and i loved them ever since! is she really on the voice? ive never really watched it and no one really talks about that show here until now my friend told me she was?
Answer: Yes, she is. Xenia never stood a chance against the professional, Dia.
What I don't understand is why she's pretending to be so shy and timid when she's a seasoned performer who has CDs, done tour dates, and made videos.
And now it looks like NBC has given her the crown by announcing that she will be doing a duet with Miranda Lambert.

Answer: She hasn't said anything as of yet. However I'm assuming Universal Records have already or are about to sign her considering she was #1 on iTunes for inventing shadows under UMG.

How does it make you feel to know that NBC has practically crowned DIA FRAMPTON on The Voice as the winner?
Answer: It ticked me off when I heard the announcement.
Xenia never stood a chance against the professional, Dia frampton.
Furthermore, Dia fooled everyone by PRETENDING that she's all shy and timid and this was all new to her.
When in fact, she has a band, she's made FOUR ALBUMS, she's performed in front of others ON STAGE, she's had TOUR DATES, and she's made videos.
And you're right. NBC has crowned her the winner. Why else would she be performing with Lambert if they didn't expect her to win it all?
All the other contestants should be performing with guest stars too. But NOOOOOOO.........that's too much like doing right.
Well, I won't be watching after this season too. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
