Does JESSE JACKSON fan the flame of racism intentionally?
There is nothing racist with the LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers owner. Jesse jackson needs to stop making this stuff up to get his face on the news.
What a disgrace.
Answer: So true. He does nothing but stir up anger and make the black community look bad. He's trying to create a community of victimhood which is neither helpful nor probably wanted.

Why is JESSE JACKSON not considered a racist and still considered relevant?
After his latest quote "You Cant Vote Against Health Care and Call Yourself Black"
will he finally be called the racist he is? Will he still be invited to all the news shows? Will the press still hang on his every word?
When will the black community realize that Jesse jackson (and Al Sharpton) make all their money by keeping the black community down. The same community that believes that these two represent their best interests.
Answer fast before this question is pulled.
Jeremiah Wright is not relevant.
Jesse jackson is most certainly still considered relevant, otherwise his quotes wouldnt make headlines.
Answer: You're wrong -- he is no longer relevant.

Where has JESSE JACKSON been during the Obama campaign?
Normally when Jesse jackson was previously running for the presidency, he was all about minority group awareness, but he hasnt really been saying anything at all during Borack Obamas campaign. I know he is still for minority group awareness, but he seems to be laying low when an actual minority group member is at the lead of the presidental race. So where is Jesse jackson?
Answer: Jackson has been a strong Clinton supporter to gain what he wants to see happen. As with many others, the Clinton-Obama confrontation has put him in a bind - while it would seem obvious he should support "his" minority, if Obama has no chance of winning, then such support would cost him influence. And as we can see from the comments around, both Clinton and Obama are minorities in the race for the presidency. If either one wins, it will be a new record and there are people who might vote Democrat who will never vote for a woman or a black and thus may not vote this year or vote Republican - because we know he's a good Vet.

How would you compare JESSE JACKSON in the 1980s to Barack Obama today?
Hopefully you all know that Jesse jackson ran for the democratic nomination in 1984 and 1988, gaining 30% of the nomination vote in 88, breaking expectations and becoming the closest a black man has come to the presidency. If you see his speeches from back then, hes a lot cooler guy than he is now.
Anyways, in terms of their politics, and more importantly racial identity of themselves and America as a whole, how would you compare Jackson and Obama? Do you think Jackson emphasized race more obviously than Obama?
Answer: from what I remember (being British and not following American politics as closely as Americans) Jackson was a black man who stood for the black people whilst Obama is half white and half black and seems to want to represent everybody.

Rev. JESSE JACKSON apologized Wednesday for saying Barack Obama is “talking down to black people”?
Rev. Jesse jackson apologized Wednesday for saying Barack Obama is “talking down to black people” during what Jackson thought was a private conversation before a FOX News interview Sunday.
Jackson was speaking to a fellow guest at the time about Obama’s speeches in black churches and his support for faith-based charities. Jackson added before going live, “I want to cut his nuts off.”
His microphone picked up the remarks
What do you think?
Answer: I really think that most people don't get it. For some this is a chance to spring to the defense of Mr. Obama, because anyone that says anything against your candidate must pay with at least a wicked tongue lashing.
The other section of people are those that love taking swipes and Jesse jackson, not matter what he says or does. This section of people have made their minds up long ago and it does not matter to them the facts or circumstances.
Now I am sitting here thinking that it is funny as all get out that Rev. Jackson said what he said, knowing that he would run to CNN and say he sorry. The whole thing is just funny to me.
Please remember my friends on the left that it was People like Jesse jackson that put life and limb at risk in the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's that we all benefit from today. So attacking him may be at the least disrespectful. If you disagree I am sure you can do it in a respectful tone.
Please also remember that Mr. Obama is not promoting anything as of yet the Rev. Jackson has not already talked about before. Yes, the circumstances were different, but the concepts the same. The rainbow coalition was a very cross-cultural political and social movement as was P.U.S.H. So, like it or not Obama-maniacs, We are all walking in the somewhat crooked footsteps of Rev. Jackson. Show some respect!

Sad to hear how JESSE JACKSON has been saying such inappropriate remarks about Obama lately, feel the same?
Ive always like Jesse jackson and was saddened to see how he of all people has recently made two very disturbing headline news stories for saying extremely inappropriate things about Obama. Seems like he would be supporting him.
Anyone feel the same?
Answer: What is see is the typical case of a jealous black person. As a race we want more blacks to fulfill important positions within our country, but when a black person rise to the occasion many start throwing jabs and start sayin he's acting white. What we a black/ African American race needs to:
1. Support Obama, We never had a non white person go this far in the election.
2. STOP saying he is acting white or he's not acting black, The fact of the matter is that he is both black and white and grew up in Hawaii.
3. Dont shun him for not expressing certain views that some other political black figures would. He going to be the president of the United States not the president of Black People.
4. Just Give him support. Its hard enough that he has to gain respect and votes from white people, but now he has to gain respect from all those complaining we need change, yet he's not black enough black people.
I just tired of all the negativity surrounding Barak Obama and his level of blackness.
