I didnt but a co-worker told me this morning that Matt said Kyles actions at Texas last weekend were premeditated the same as Vickers were to him. That just doesnt sound like Matt to me. Maybe he was just hot over getting taken out.
Answer: Vickers said last week he was going to payback Kenseth in one of the final 3 races and make sure he didn't win the championship. Matt said it doesn't get more premeditated than that. He said Kyle made a stupid decision in the heat of the moment but Vickers had weeks to think about it. Basically, he was saying Vickers should have been parked for the day. And Nascar said they would've if they were positive it was intentional. Vicker's official story is it was unintentional. How ridiculous is it for Vickers to decide to pay Matt back? If every driver that owes Brian one cashed in, well........

These are the children of Matt kenseth, Bill Elliott, and Mark Martin but I am not hearing much about them. I live near the Gresham Raceway in Georgia and Chase Elliott was driving there, but I have not heard anything about Ross Kenseth or Matt Martin other than hearing their names mentioned. I would think they are all over 16.
Answer: Ross Kenseth is doing awesome and I expect to see him in Nascar. I don't a thing about Chase. And I thought Matt gave up racing and this is a big part of why Mark gave up retirement.

Answer: Possibly, though I doubt it. Watkins Glen isn't much of an aerodynamic track, so he shouldn't have aero problems. I don't think this hurts him too much for the race

I like matt but he did not race the full 500 miles come on he is acting like his team put it all together to win the race. Wow great champ he was sitting in the garage.
Answer: You might want to put this in the correct category, wrestling isnt NASCAR, It was a legit race, it made the 100 lap mark, but it is clear that Kyle Busch had the best car that day. Unfortunately nature prevailed, but you still have to give him credit. A good bit of it is still luck, but it is sad that busch got taken out.

How do you think MATT KENSETH will do in 2009?

One of the most consistent drivers in NASCAR, Kenseth had an inconsistent season in 2008 with zero wins and 11th place in the points. Now that Drew Blickensderfer will be calling the shots for the #17, how do you think Matt will do this year? Do you think he will return to victory lane and get back into championship form soon?
Answer: It really depends on the chemistry between he and Blickensderfer.I know that he worked well with Edwards in the Nationwide Series but that doesn't guarantee anything with Kenseth.If they click and Blickensderfer figures out the COT then Matt will have a great season.I believe Matt will win one or two races(probably Las Vegas and Michigan) and continue to be one of only 2 drivers to make every Chase since it's inception(shared with Johnson).

Who will be sponsoring MATT KENSETH in 2012?

I heard Matt was losing his sponsorship for 2012, but I would think sponsors would line up for him because he has 3 wins, is third in the point standings, and has won a championship, something many drivers have not done. There are lesser drivers who never seem to have trouble lining up sponsors. Who do you think will step up to the plate and sponsor this great driver?
Answer: No one from the 17 camp seems to have any clue as to who it will be. The fact that Roush has gone from 5 teams to 4, and now probably down to 3 next year, one of which has no sponsor, says something about the current state of Nascar.

Answer: I can't get used to it. He's just not a "purple" kind of guy...he's so low-key and quiet, and that color scheme is so flamboyant. But he's a good driver whatever color of car he's in :)

After the race I was watching Victory Lane and Carl and Matt were arguing and pushing and shoving and I was just wondering what happened between them. Also Carl trew a punch at Matt but Matt cought it so I am just hoping they are still friends and that neither one of them get penalized!
Answer: Bob Dillner reported live from the track this afternoon after the race--and his camera crew caught it--a lil' altercation between Carl Edwards and Matt kenseth that almost led to punches. Kenseth was being interviewed when Edwards approached and grabbed him by both shoulders, ready to fight. At first it looked like they could be play fighting, but when I saw it the second time, it was obvious to me that Kenseth didn't think Edwards wasn't playin'. Dillner suggested it must have been something that happened on the track today--he wasn't sure ... and I sure wouldn't know, since I didn't get to watch the race. What I do know is that the beef between the Roush Fenway Racing teammates didn't start today--it dates back at least to Kansas when the two made contact in the Busch race.

How about Carl Edwards going after MATT KENSETH in the interview?

Did you all see that? Matt Kensith was doing an interview and Carl comes over and totally crashes it. Then Carl fakes a punch and Matt flinches! I am a huge 99 fan but i thought this was a little uncalled for. The reason why he said he did this was, "beacuase his teamtes never congratualte him on victories and that he was sick of only getting congratulation messages from Jimmy Johnson." What are your thoughts on the situation?
Answer: i didn't see it until nascar now on espn2 the day after and of course it was only a little clip, but what do you expect? edwards is frustrated becasue he's not doing sh*it in the chase and so is matt....but carl is still a little kid and acts like one sometimes....he is a product of his own hyped up press and now he's not living up to it......at least matt showed a little class by trying to back away when the cameras were on....but personally i think he should have found him in the parking lot later and kicked his a*ss.....roush will never be the same without mark and they're all suffering from the loss of the best driver and it seems as though mark took the class also when he left. personally i like it because i never liked seeing mark in a ford anyway, but those guys really don't work well together on the track and i think that has alot to do with it too.....he's whining about "no one congratulating him"? when was the last time he did something that deserved a pat on the back? just because he can beat up on those little kids in the busch series doesn't mean he's deserving of some consideration on sunday.....and has anyone ever seen him do the very thing he's whining about? when has he been in victory lane giving matt or mark or greg that pat on the back? respect isn't given, it's earned and he just doesn't get. he should stop reading his own press and fan mail and start getting his act together and showing his teammates a litle respect before he can expect to get any.

Why do people think MATT KENSETH is a punk or a brat?

Matt is the nicest guy out there compared to some other drivers like Junior, who acts like the world revolves around him. There are some people on here that called him a punk and also have called him Matt the brat. Ive known him for 26 years. Hes the a smart guy, drives clean, and can win without being stupid. Dale Jr., does think the world revolves around him and he acts like hes a god. Dales also not a clean racer.
