Planning to visit Kismet, NY on Fire island. The web info states there are no public bathrooms nor changing facilities. There are public bathrooms at the lighthouse but if u have to go, where do you go in Kismet?
Answer: There are two restaurants in Kismet, the In and the Out. Both have bathrooms. Though they aren't "public" bathrooms, they are available and if you were to go to the bar and grab a soda or whatever then I'm sure it would be know problem using their facilities.

How can I defeat the dragon on the FIRE ISLAND in astro knights on poptropica?

Answer: No, the temperature is YOURS, and you get hotter the longer you stay there, and even hotter if you get hit by the dragon. This is a complex process and not especially easy even when you know how. Basically, you have to avoid the dragon and flames, climb the chains to the back of the beast, then approach from behind, avoiding the spiked tail. Throwing the SWITCH on the dragon's back will stun him for only a *few seconds* during which you must jump back in front of him and shoot the Ice Arrow directly into his open mouth (no flames coming out). He will rapidly wake up when you hit him. Climb the chains again, watching out for falling rocks. Repeat the attack twice more for a total of three hits, before you overheat and have to start over.

How are the beaches at FIRE ISLAND? And are there any waves to body surf or boogie board in?

Im going to Fire island for the 1st time and i am 15yrs old. Is there alot of stuff to do there for someone my age and I was curious how the beaches were?
Answer: Your answer is yes, although at the time I'm writing this the website says the wave height is only 1 foot. Normally there's a 3 to 4 foot surf. You can body surf any of the beaches and I think foam boogie boards are allowed anywhere, but body boards and surf boards are restricted to only certain beaches. I imagine that's good news for you though. This way you don't have to worry about mad surfers as you're trying to body surf on the waves. Would a straight couple feel awkward spending the night at FIRE ISLAND Pines?

Me and my boyfriend are a young couple (both 20) who want to spend a relaxing weekend on Fire island. (We live on Long Island). Since this is so last minute, obviously everything is booked. But I did manage to find a place that seemed really nice on Fire island Pines, a small gay community. Now usually when I plan trips, I make mistakes (Im know as a bad planner). I really want this trip to not have any problems. Obviously gay couples do not make me uncomfortable. I just wonder if it would be awkward for me and boyfriends first overnight stay in Fire island. Does anyone know if there are a bunch of straight couples that stay at The Pines and they do not feel out of place?

You will no doubt meet some gay couples with reciprocal attitudes towards straights as you are obviously not in competition with them nor are they with you. What is the best way to get to FIRE ISLAND from Manhatten?

First time to NY soon, and was possibly interested in a day trip to Fire island. What is the best way to get there and is a day long enough to hit the best highlights of the island?
Answer: It depends on which part of Fire island you'd like to go to. If you want to go to the "party" area (Ocean Beach) you'd want to take the LIRR to Bay Shore, the train will let you off not too far from the Ferry station (I'm not totally sure if It's in walking distance, or a VERY cheap cab ride) If you want to go to the more relaxed, quiet, gay-oriented (although not all of it is) you'd want to take the ferry out of Sayville. It's pretty much the same situation as with Bay Shore. Hop the LIRR to Sayville and take the ferry. A day, starting very early in the morning is enough time to see your designated area... you're not going to cover the whole island (you actually can't, some spots you'd have to take a water taxi to get to)
