If it is a customer satisfaction recall or a special field action recall, such as an 04B23 or 06L28, these will expire. Look for the S in the recall number if you received a recall notice letter from Ford in the mail. This is the key to whether or not the recall will expire.

People seem to think that they are going to get big money by going after some big company. But in my opinion, since the lawyers would have to use the NHTSA data... you don't have a case there. You may want to research further at the site But you'll probably get better results by filing a claim with your insurance company. They probably will cover the cost of repairs to your hood. Answer: my cousin say's this is true,but u have to bring the the truck into the dealership,and they will look at the cam sensor,and if it is agenuin ford part,they will pay,if any other brand was installed ur out of luck,he replaced his about a year ago,but that's the only thing,he's replaced,them some good truck's,and i dont even like ford's..
