why does KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR always seem angry at the world?
yeah everytime i see Kareem abdul jabbar doing interviews or on tv, he seems like hes always mad at the world... i havent seen him smile at all... was there like NBA goals that he didnt get to complete so hes mad about that or something?
Answer: no no... also i think he seems angry because he doesn't smile a lot during an interview but it's wrong he smiles. it's only the attitude of the legend but really he's a good man. Moreover many journalist respect him so they don't want to play with him because he's serious! Also maybe he doesn't like the interview or something like this.

Basketball: Is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar the second best player of all-time?
Michael Jordan is the best player of all time. We all know that. But does anyone think that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the second best player of all time. If you do not think Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the second best, tell me who you think is the second best player of all-time. I appreciate all of your opinions! I think Kareem is #2!
Answer: Yup. I've thought that Kareem is number 2 for a while now.
I got:
1. Michael Jordan
2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
3. Magic Johnson
4. Wilt Chamberlain
5. Larry Bird
6. Shaquille O'Neal
7. Hakeem Olajuwon
8. Tim Duncan
9. Bill Russell
10. Kobe Bryant
He is such an accomplished player. He has 19 All-Star appearances, 6 rings, 2 Finals MVPs (should have 3), 6 MVPs and is the leading scorer of All-Time. He was a complete player, with 11 All-Defensive team selections to his name. Kareem is also one of the best passing centers ever, having averaged 5 or more assists per game in 3 seasons. He was also a prolific rebounder and shot-blocker. Kareem would dominate in any era thanks to his unstoppable Sky-Hook.
He's extremely overlooked because of his quiet personality the fact that he doesn't like the media very much. He also played a long time ago, so many people would not have seen him play.
Great question.

How many blocks did Kareem Abdul-Jabbar make during his NBA career?
I know it was 3 thousand and something but I want to know specifically.
Who had the most blocked shots in the NBA?
Answer: No one knows how many blocks Kareem had, because for the first four years of his career, blocked shots were not an official NBA stat. The NBA did not begin tracking blocked shots until the 1973-74 season (which, btw, was the season after Wilt Chamberlain retired).
The only thing we know is that Kareem had 3,189 blocks from the 1974 season onward.
Here are the all time leaders in blocked shots since the 1974 season:
1.Hakeem Olajuwon*3830
2.Dikembe Mutombo3289
3.Kareem Abdul-Jabbar*3189
4.Artis Gilmore3178
5.Mark Eaton3064
6.David Robinson*2954
7.Patrick Ewing*2894
8.Shaquille O'Neal2628
9.Tree Rollins2542
10.Robert Parish*2361
11.Alonzo Mourning2356
12.Caldwell Jones2297
13.Shawn Bradley2119
14.Tim Duncan2118
15.Manute Bol2086
16.George Johnson2082
17.Larry Nance2027
18.Marcus Camby1994
19.Ben Wallace1948
20.Julius Erving*1941
21.Theo Ratliff1902
22.Moses Malone*1889
23.Elvin Hayes*1771
24.Kevin Garnett1733
25.Kevin McHale*1690
Had blocks been an official NBA stat all along, Wilt, Russell, Kareem and probably Nate Thurmond would easily have blocked more shots than Olajuwon. So the blocked shot record is really a phony record, not a legitimate one.

How much would a basketball signed by KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR be worth?
His original signature in mint condition. An estimate would be wonderful. Thanks
Answer: You need a professional to figure out the value. You need to provide more information. Is this just a basketball which Jabbar sign recently? Or is it a ball from one of his championship which he signed? If it is just a ball with Jabbar signature then my guess is around $200. If it was the other, then it's going to worth considerable more. Now you need a pro estimate.

How good would KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR have done against Bill Russell?
Would Jabbar outplaying Russell because of his height advantages and his deadly sky hook? Or would Russell became one of only few players who could block Abdul Jabbars sky hook?
Feel free to give your opinion in here....
BQ: Yall think Melo will be top scorer this season?
Answer: Kareem would probably be able to score against Russell, just as Wilt did.
Kareem was a bit different in temperament from Wilt because Wilt was always a genuinely nice guy, and even he admitted later in life that there were times when he lacked the 100% total killer instinct on the court that Russell had. Kareem was an angry young man, and he had a killer instinct on the court that would have served him well against Russell. However, Russell was the smartest player ever to play the game. In his prime, Russell could have done an excellent job of defending against Kareem's skyhook. Kareem would have had to work VERY hard against Russell, just as he had to work hard against Wilt to put up the numbers that he did (Wilt was about 11 years older than Kareem).
Chances are, Kareem would have had some decent offensive nights against Russell, but Russell would have done whatever it took to win the game. That was the only thing Russell cared about. Russell was a great athlete and he would have fought Kareem very hard to keep Kareem off of his favorite spots in the post.
An in-his-prime Russell would most certainly be able to block the skyhook, at least on occasions, just as Wilt did...on occasions.
By the way, it's funny the way you phrased this question... Kareem (then known as Lew Alcindor) entered the NBA in the 1969-70 season, which is the year after Russell retired, so they never played against each other in an NBA game Of course, when Alcindor entered the NBA, he immediately became a dominant player and scorer. Naturally, some writers started asking Russell the question "How would you have done against Alcindor?". Russell replied, "The question is not how I would have done against Alcindor, but rather, how Alcindor would have done against me"
Russell was the greatest, smartest player ever to play the game. The NBA has yet to see a player who might have beaten him. What he did went so far beyond what the raw numbers were... it requires a very deep and sophisticated knowledge of the game to even begin to understand what Russell did when he took the court. He was playing chess when most other players who've come along since have been playing tic-tac-toe.
Also, Russell's being left handed would have created an advantage in guarding against Kareem's right-handed skyhook.
