I have a 3 month old puppy and I am looking for an affordable, competent, and compassionate vet in my area. I live between OSU campus and Clintonville on N. High Street. The pup was purchased in Canal Winchester so her original vet is a bit further away than I would like to travel. I really want to find a vet that will help me make sure she stays healthy and happy! Should I report hearing similar sounds to what they heard in CLINTONVILLE?
I saw a video just now on the main yahoo page about the people of Clintonville, WI hearing strange booms and rumbling in the town. As of yet they have no idea what the people were hearing. On Monday night at maybe 2 or 3am me and my girlfriend also heard strange sounds emanating from who knows where. At first I thought someone had pulled into my driveway with the bass all the way up on their radio. We heard it again and again a low vibrating rumble. I turned everything off in the house and listened.. i heard it again. Then I went outside and listened but it had already stopped. . It didnt shake the house but I could not identify the source. We kind of just dismissed it because it stopped. I suppose it could have been anything but it was very strange and did not sound like it was bass from music after I had heard it a few times. I would have just forgotten about it had I not seen the video. Pretty large coincidence seeing as I only live maybe 150 miles from that town. Also the time and date fit. Anyhow does anyone think it is worth reporting to someone. I know the odds of an earthquake are pretty slim here but you never know.

Which neighborhood should I choose in Columbus, OH?
Im moving to Columbus soon and Im wondering which neighborhood would be the best to live in and why. Ive got it narrowed down to three: Grandview Heights, Clintonville and Harrison West. Im looking for a fairly quiet neighborhood with close proximity to OSU, CSCC and basic neighborhood amenities such as groceries, gas stations, shopping, etc. Which one should I choose?
Answer: Actually I lived in Olentangy Village in Clintonville. If you cross High Street (going east), you'll find some awesome side streets and trails that you would never expect to find there. Clintonville has some nicey "homey" houses and friendly neighbors. You'll also find lots of cool, little shops and boutiques if you walk, instead of drive up and down High Street in that area (say from Hudson to W. North Broadway). Riverside Methodist Hospital is not too far away. You have two grocery stores, Big Bear and Kroger, within mere blocks of each other. It's also close to OSU which will save you time getting to campus. My vote: Clintonville.

Answer: There are organized clubs for the collection, restoration and operation of these vehicles. Unfortunately, I don't know of any personally.
But, here's your best bet to locate one, I would think. In northern California there is an old railroad town called Dunsmuir. Each summer they celebrate this heritage with their "Railroad Days Festival".
One or more of these clubs attend this event, so I would suggest contacting the Dunsmuir Chamber of Commerce and ask for a contact with the Railroad Days committee, and that person should be able to provide contact information.

where in columbus ohio to live?
me and my friend are moving to columbus, we want to be kind of by OSU and where there is a lot going on. but there are so many places we have been looking at worthington and Clintonville and grandview.. so does anyone know of where would be a good not ghetto fun town to live? and not like off the wall expensive.
Answer: the further from downtown you go - the less expensive. I work in downtown and live in Reynoldsburg just outside the 270 loop and my commute is less than a half hour in traffic. I would love to live in short north or german village (i have lots of friends there) but the rent is horrendous and still the downtown area crime issue. i would look at grandview, bexley, upper arlington if you want close to downtown. Otherwise - Hilliard, Canal, Pickerington, westerville are all nice
