If I donate to the NAACP, where does the money go?
could someone post a link to where it shows exactly where donated money to the Naacp goes? For example, what percentage of the money goes to the real cause and how much money goes to people the Naacp has to pay. Please do not post a link to the hempage of the Naacp website.
If the question doesnt make sense, then look at it this way. How are funds allocated/spent within the organization.
Answer: This is from the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Some is good, some not so good. Of course, you might disagree with the BBB.

Should the NAACP condemn the krips and the bloods rather than the tea parties?
The krips and the bloods commit actual violence in the black community not the fake violence they accuse the tea parties of.Theres thousands of occupied caskets and thousands of survivors in wheel chairs to prove it.The majority of victims are between the ages of two and twenty two and the crack cocaine they distribute in the hood really dosent have a positive effect on the community either. Is the Naacp truly concerned about blacks or is it all about politics. And if it is racism they are concerned with shouldnt they be condemning the black panthers too,or is it ok to kill cracker babies.Seems like a lot of hypocracy to me.
Answer: If they're going to start cleaning houses ( communities ) they should start with their own first.
Obviously crime perpetrated against their own is perfectly acceptable.

The Naacp have played a very important part in the civil rights movement. The initials stand for the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People.
Is the NAACP a human rights organization or?
Marion Barber, president of the NC Naacp, said the Naacp was a human rights organization and it wasnt only about black people, but all races? Does anyone have examples that confirms this statement?
Im not complaining about this group and I know what they once stood for, but now it is in question. Not once have I ever seen them speak out against injustices to anyone other than blacks.
Take the Duke Lacrosse incident for example... they didnt wait to see if the stripper was telling the truth. They jumped right on her bandwagon and she made them look foolish!
Answer: The next time a white person gets hospitalized from a black gang, see how quick the Naacp comes to defending the black gang that committed the crime. The white person (Victim) won't matter to them.

How can NAACP label Tea Party as racist as it is designed and founded to exclusively "Advance Colored People"?
Should the Naacp not be branded a racist organization in itself as it is specifically designed to advance a single racial entity within a society?
Answer: Organizations don't come any more racist than the Naacp. These other lame answers that say it's for the advancement of "colored" people are full of it. It's for the advancement of blacks and blacks only. Whens the last time you ever heard of them promoting ANYONE that wasn't black? They are a group of hypocritical racist bigots.

How does the NAACP get away with giving scholarships only to black people?
If someone gave out a scholarship specifically to white people only, they would be sued for discrimination, and justifiably so. Meanwhile organizations such as Naacp can continue to give scholarships only to blacks, and nobody seems to bat an eye.
Answer: The Naacp is a private organization. As such they are free to give scholarships to whomever they wanted.

Is the NAACP unhappy with Obamas performance as President?
The Naacp wants to know why Obama has not been able to do anything about job creation. They say unemployment among blacks is at 15.7%. Is he loosing favor among blacks as well as most everyone else for doing nothing about the most serious problem facing America....Unemployment!
Answer: I don't know where you got your stats, but unemployment is 16% conclusive of all races accounting for those who are only temporarily employed, those who have taken voluntary time off without pay, and those still awaiting their claim. I find it hard to believe that 15.7% blacks are unemployed -- affirmative action has done much damage to non-blacks in that department.
Obama, his elitists, and his sheeple think that the market is the tell all, but I agree it is unemployment percentage that reflects the true climate of our economic state. But the politicians don't care; they are sold out to globalization, both political parties, but thank the Clintons for NAFTA and bye bye to many American soil jobs.
Edit: The only "jobs" he has "created" are government waste/policy jobs paid for by the working poor.

The NAACP national convention is in Cincinnati this summer, will McCain accept his invitation to attend?
According to the local media here in Cincinnati, both candidates have been invited to attend the national Naacp convention.
Southwest Ohio is typically supports the Republican candidate. So, do you think McCain will blow off the Naacp convention since hell pretty much lock up the S.W. Ohio votes anyway?
Thoughts?
Dodger: 94% of blacks ALWAYS vote DEMOCRAT. This is not something new because of Obama.
They voted that way for Clinton too, guess you missed that part huh?
Answer: I believe Sen.McCain will attend, either live or via satellite. It's rather short-sighted to believe that McCain doesn't need to appear because Obama has the Africa-American vote "locked up". Some people forget there are moderate Republicans and Democrats looking for a more moderate view from the Republican Party. This isn't just about winning 1 segment of the population. President Bush made a terrible mistake of ignoring the Naacp convention year after year. This created the perception, rightly or wrongly, that he didn't care about African Americans. Sadly, this view was reinforced by his inaction after Hurricane Katrina.

When will the NAACP repudiate the racists inside THEIR organization?
Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, and the black panthers are just a FEW of the bigoted racists who associate and work closely with the Naacp. When will their leaders do the right thing and tell those race hustlers to never come back? Id have a lot more respect for the Naacp if they werent calling white tea party folks racist and looked inside their own organization at real examples of hatred and intolerance.

Why does the NAACP point to the same three incidents when arguing that the Tea Party is Racist?
Ben Jealous did it on CNN and Hilary Shelton just did it on Fox. Find the links yourselves. Its interesting, though, that the darker skinned African Americans see to associate with the Tea Party and the lighter skinned ones with the Naacp.
Curious as to why?
Answer: I think the point is that there has been some issues with people at Tea rallies that the Naacp feels needs addressed. That's reasonable.

Why did the NAACP choose to attack publish education over any other area where blacks faced inequality?
From the fouonding of the Naacp and the Niagra movement, this organization dedicated itself the overturning the 1894 ruling of Plessy v. Furgeson in a public educational aspect. Even though Plessy was not about public education the wording "seperate but equal" was applied to that realm. Why of all things would the Naacp choose to attack this over anything else?
Answer: Attacking the public education system was the most important way to inform the country about how our nation learns about itself and the power of the constitution. Many believe this route was the best way to defeat the separate but equal nonsense that many americans saw as fair and just. Attacking the educational system was part of many other cases involving equal rights to both African Americans and White Americans. The Naacp proved that separate does not mean equal by showing inadequate learning material and conditions compared to that of White Americans. Your best resource for answering this question thoroughly would be to look up what are called "Jim Crow Laws". A man by the name of Charles Houston helped create a path for many other cases to overturn the separate but equal idea and eventually lead to co-attendance in schools. Long story short, the equality was not really equal.

NAACP wishes to make pedophiles home a state park at the same time calling tax protesters racist?
So the Naacp wants to turn known pedophile Michael Jacksons neverland ranch into a state park and at the same time calling tea partiers racist? How much credibility does this irrelevant dinosaur have and do they always see things backwards?
Answer: Whoa! Summertime! You are too funny. People hate wasteful spending and taxes bc they really hate black people! LOL. To the question, I don't know what happened with Michael and those kids. The man was disturbed but the parents of these kids don't' seem to have much credibility. On a practical level, I think it is carp that it should be a state park. That would require tax payers to pay for Neverland when Michael was not able to do so. Maybe I am a closet racist, but I just don't want tax money spent that way. Summertime can choose to believe I don't want it bc Jackson was black, or bc I am afraid black people might get jobs, or whatever else delusional she wants to believe but the fact is that I hate the waste of money on parks. I would be pssed if Graceland were to be funded by state funds. Maybe I just hate musicians!

Why are conservatives unable to discern the difference between the NAACP and white supremacists?
Ive seen numerous answers today saying the Naacp is a racist organization because it promotes the well being of blacks.
Can you seriously not see the difference between an organization that advocates for a minority that was once enslaved by the white majority and one that promotes violence against blacks (skinheads)?
Answer: Because they are not INTERESTED in discerning the difference. The conservatives I see whining about the Naacp are people who are wholly oblivious to self-actualization. They have no concept of being honest about their own shortcomings and they have no interest in admitting their own racism.
It's all about denial.

What was the exact wording in NAACP resolution that said the Tea Party Movement is a racist organization?
Please share your source.
I say the Naacp did not say the Tea Party Movement is a racist organization so prove me wrong.
Answer: You're correct.
The Naacp didn't say the Tea Party was racist, it said that it was "harboring racist elements that are a threat to our democracy."
Like Mark Williams, spokesman for the Tea Party Express, who wrote this "satirical" letter:
Dear Mr. Lincoln,
We Colored People have taken a vote and decided that we don't cotton to that whole emancipation thing. Freedom means having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences along with the rewards. That is just far too much to ask of us Colored People and we demand that it stop!
In fact we held a big meeting and took a vote in Kansas City this week. We voted to condemn a political revival of that old abolitionist spirit called the ‘tea party movement'.
Perhaps the most racist point of all in the tea parties is their demand that government “stop raising our taxes.” That is outrageous! How will we Colored People ever get a wide screen TV in every room if non-coloreds get to keep what they earn? Totally racist! The tea party expects coloreds to be productive members of society?
Mr. Lincoln, you were the greatest racist ever. We had a great gig. Three squares, room and board, all our decisions made by the massa in the house. Please repeal the 13th and 14th Amendments and let us get back to where we belong.
Sincerely,
Precious Ben Jealous, Tom's Nephew National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Head Colored Person"
