Whats the BEST PICTURE format to have in a video?
Ive been making videos lately and I Photoshop a picture with a 1280x720 res and the video is 1280x720 res. When I do the output, (usually with h.241) the part of the video where the picture shows up is very blurry. Either Im doing an incorrect output format or the image format isnt the best for videos. I currently use jpeg.

What Nikon Camera would give me the BEST PICTURE for a good price?
I am looking to spend around 400 on a camera but am really only concerned about taking pictures rather than the movies and stuff. What Nikon would give me the best quality picture for around that price. Maybe a nikon coolpix l120 would do the job? Any help would be great thank you!
Answer: Nikon Coolpix L120 is a good camera. But, if you are looking into getting a DSLR, then I would suggest you to put some extra bucks and buy Nikon D3100. Its new and upgraded version of Nikon D3000.
One big drawback in D3000 was that it has a CCD sensor which is not good compared to CMOS sensor in the D3100.

What is the BEST PICTURE file format to save in for printing purposes?
I need to know what the best file format is to save something in if I want to print it later. Its a high detail picture, with small text. I wont be using the web with this, just straight printing. Any suggestions?
Answer: For most work, JPG is just fine.
Very fine text can get blurred that way, so TIFF is the better option in this case.

I am buring some of my old tapes to DVD. I have 2 VCRs. VCR A has the best sound quality, but some tapes will have lots of static on the picture. Those same tapes will play on VCR B with excellent picture quality, but it will play them with muffled sound. Other tapes play perfect on either VCR. What should I do? I prefer using VCR A. Will using a head cleaner fix the static on the picture?

I recently bought a samsung led 8000 series tv , and got an hdmi cable with it. I noticed that the picture still had noise on it and i know that that type of tv has the Best picture quality of any other tv , but i dont know how to set it to its maximun picture quality. Any ideas?
Answer: I believe turning down the brightness should reduce "noise".

How to get the BEST PICTURE quality for digital cable on my tv?
I recently bought a 62HM196 toshiba hdtv. I have digital cable using a coax cable for my connection. Just wondering what is the best way to get good picture? What are the best cables to get for this?
Answer: You don't need BEST cables.....since the signal is DIGITAL it's Noiseproof! That's why we're converting from analog TV signals to digital TV signals....so the picture is perfectly noise free.....all you have to do is make sure you have a strong enough signal to drive the TV set's circuitry. Your cable man can come out and test the strength of the signal.....
When he say's you have - 3 db, -2db, -1 db or preferably 0 db, you can rest assured it's enough for DIGITAL stations.....As for ANALOG stations, it's better that you have -1 or 0 db for that.
Don't worry about buying MONSTER CABLE....for 6 foot runs it's not going to improve ANY signal at all.....And for HDMI cables....just get a reasonably priced one, not the most expensive! Why? BECAUSE that signal is digital also, you don't need anything more than a good chunk of copper connecting the two devices....not necessary to have "Oxygen Free" and Hi Density foam core, and "Elliptical Braiding" and all that other HOO HAA.......
All that other HOO HAA works great with ANALOG signals on a 50 long wire....and that's where it really does produce a better signal !

Answer: First congrats on the Samsung purchase they are great TVs. There are several options.1.) Hire someone for around $100 to configure you TV for optimum performance. 2.) You could buy a disk that is designed to optimize your TV. 3.) If you have kids or know anyone that has Monsters Inc. cartoon on DVD or almost any lucasfilm movie. Go to the features menu select "Optimizer" it will walk you through a series of steps from color, contrast, brightness, and sharpness to allow you to set it to the best performance. Now this is not to say this is the "perfect" settings but I tried it on my Samsung Plasma and it gave me a huge start. These Tv' have a ton of settings. But this should put you on the right track

How can I get the BEST PICTURE and sound from a coaxial cable?
My VCR has AV ports, but the ones on my TV are used up for other things. Since I just have the coaxial cable to work with, how can I get the best possible picture and sound from it?
Answer: Get gold plated monster cables. They are thicker, and because of the gold platting, transmit sound and video better.
You can also buy a AV hub that has many ports. I bought one with 6 ports at radioshack for $19.99.

Answer: You have the basic 18-55 mm lens and that is usually what people "walk around" with.
You can buy a second lens, the 55-250 mm and extend your range to include action, sports and some wildlife. If you want this in one lens, you may find the 18-200 mm IS to be the best one lens choice.
Auto-focus speed is where the USM lenses reign supreme.
Picture quality in all the Canon lenses is excellent, but the top of the list are all the "L" lenses, the ones with the red stripe.
Performance: This term means different things to different photographers. For me if the lens is the one I pick first for an assignment, then that is a good performing lens, whether it is a f/2.8 or a slower lens. "Does it do the job?", is my first question. Others want fast lenses, like the 24-70 mm f/2.8 or 70-200 mm f/2.8 because they shoot a lot of available light photography and the extra $1,000 or so is worth it to them.
