Answer: Norv Turner is not the "problem" because there is no problem. Think about it this way. Look at the first two weeks. Fluke play in final two seconds gives Carolina a win and the ref gives Denver the win in week two. If we take these games and put them in the W column, the Chargers are a respectable 6-3. Do they have problems? Yes. The lack of Merriman hurts the double-pronged pash attack and L.T. is lagging, though he will break 1000 yards. The point is, some bad luck has the Chargers at 4-5 instead of 6-3 where no one would be complaining and searching for problems. I chalk up the "problem" in San Diego to dumb luck.... for now.

Time for Jackson, Sharpton to Step Down Pair See Potential for Profit, Attention in Imus Incident By Jason whitlock AOL Sports Commentary I’m calling for Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, the president and vice president of Black America, to step down. Their leadership is stale. Their ideas are outdated. And they don’t give a damn about us. We need to take a cue from White America and re-elect our leadership every four years. White folks realize that power corrupts. That’s why they placed term limits on the presidency. They know if you leave a man in power too long he quits looking out for the interest of his constituency and starts looking out for his own best interest. We’ve turned Jesse and Al into Supreme Court justices. They get to speak for us for a lifetime. Why? If judged by the results they’ve produced the last 20 years, you’d have to regard their administration as a total failure. Seriously, compared to Martin and Malcolm and the freedoms and progress their leadership produced, Jesse and Al are an embarrassment. Their job the last two decades was to show black people how to take advantage of the opportunities Martin and Malcolm won. Have we at the level we should have? No.
Answer: Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have the prominence they do because they have some kind of following. Both have run for public office but not been elected. Both are divinity school graduates who are titled "Reverend", the historically typical basis for leadership in the African American community. If and when they lose credibility within their churches and within their communities, they will cease to be leaders. Nobody else can either make them or remove them as such. Theodore Roosevelt called the Presidency of the United States a "bully pulpit", because the office gives credence to the speeches of its occupant. The converse is not true - giving speeches that are given credence by major elements of either ones own community or by the media does not make one president, or vice president, of anything at all. Personally, I discount most of what both Jackson and Sharpton have to say, because they have proven to have been in error about so many things so many times in the past. Do not let the media fascination with oratory confuse you - speech is not power, nor leadership, nor even necessarily intelligence. Power is either office, or wealth, or a large following doing ones bidding. Leadership is having that following. Intelligence is not in giving the speeches but in writing them. Just because some guy draws a crowd when he talks, and a camera puts his picture on TV, does not mean that that guy is a representative, even of the crowd he draws. Talk is cheap. Jackson and Sharpton are almost all talk. They run nothing, rule nothing, judge nothing, and have no power beyond the sound of their own voices. They sit on no courts, are members of no legislatures, and head no government agency. When Black America stops caring what Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have to say, they will be through.

I think Jason whitlock is just pro-black and only concerns himself with black and call everyone else a racist and make an issue out of nothing most of the times. He actually thinks Emmitt Smith is doing a good job, when we all know that he wont be back next year.
Answer: Emmitt Smith is terrible at announcing, and although he was a great player, he's not even close to the best RB of all time. He had the biggest line ever to run behind. I can't wait until LaDainian Tomlinson breaks his record, because he's a much more special back.
