Jeremy Lin interview...?
I am NOT a Knicks fan, actually a CELTICS fan...
I just heard Jeremy Lin on ESPN Radio. Great interview, obviously guy has a good head on his shoulders. WHAT IMPRESSED ME MOST: He was asked about how he saved the Knicks season, and, more specifically, Mike DiAntoinis job. His response: "He saved MY job."
Dude just gets it.
Answer: I think my favorite part of the Linsanity story, other than all the great highlight plays, being the underdog savior of the Knicks and all, is how this dude slept on his brother's couch for a few weeks since his contract was never guaranteed by the Knicks before his newfound play. Talk about a good head on his shoulders...

Do you think maybe ESPN is trying to make Jeremy Lin into a star a little too fast?
For instance, in the same way the UFC pushed Rampage Jackson by rushing him into fights sooner than he was ready for them? I do understand thats what ESPN is supposed to do but am I the only one thinking that maybe this is happening a little too fast?
Answer: Well Jeremy Lin has the skill to back up all the hype. I mean, he has 109 points in the first four starts of his career. That's the most in NBA history. NBA HISTORY. That definitely says something, and I think this kid has the potential to do really well in this league.

ESPN: Network of Bigots?
The network over-publicizes black athletes who run afoul of the law and now, in the aftermath of a 9-turnover fiasco that ended the Knicks winning streak, has run a headline referring to Jeremy Lin -- formerly ESPNs feel-good story of the month -- as a "Chink In The Armor" of the team.
This is a network that floods the airwaves with pompous, mindless blowhards who contribute nothing useful to the sporting public or our society as a whole. Is it time to ignore this collection of self-important jackasses and tune in elsewhere to get our daily sports fix?

Are we seriously gonna keep asking Jeremy Lin question all day?
Everybody saw what he did, do we need to break it down with a microscope what he does. The man hit a game winner what else needs to be said? Lin is a stud, a phenom even........I have absolutely no problem unlike Mayweather giving Lin his proper due, Im loving the fact that an Asian guy is blowing up in the NBA (Im a black man btw) it makes it even more exciting and more global and the cherry on the cake is that Lin is humble which I love he doesnt let it go to his head. Again Im loving Lin but ESPN is slow on good sport news and are blowing the Lin thing to stratospheric heights.
Its too soon to say hes better than Yao but it was about time we get an Asian star (hopefully) in the NBA we got Dirk, Pau, Parker etc from Europe, Ginobili, Varejao, Scola from South America, Yao and Lin (I know hes born here but of Asian parents) from Asia, Mutombo, Olajuwon from Africa, Bogut from Australia etc
