Answer: It doesn't work like that. Insurance replaces your phone with an identical phone. Any other phone is full retail unless you're eligible for an upgrade. Full retail means $649/$749 for an iPhone 4. Add sales tax. Upgrade price is $199/$299 plus sales tax. The $49 iPhone is the 3gs which Verizon never had and will never have. It's only $49 with a new contract or upgrade.

When will the DROID 4 come out?

Any idea when the Droid 4 comes out? I feel that the leaked pictures mean it is going to come out pretty quickly probably by christmas. I would really like to get this phone but if it is not coming out for a while I would just get the RAZR.
Answer: nobody knows the answer to this. although there are leaked pictures, and it does look ready for production, there are a few things to keep in mind. the droid 3 came out in july. pictures always leak from them, perhaps on purpose. there are alot of droid phones out there already they are likely in a battle with verizon about it. the droid 3 is not old, so why release a new one before all the sales of it are gotten? pictures always do leak out months before for big phones, not getting into specifics, but it is true. droid is overpowering verizon's store as it is, not really a problem, but still... the Droid 4 will have a locked bootloader if it is through verizon. they will not let it be any other way. android wants it to be unlocked, but verizon has the final say. what verizon is doing is illegal, so it is very likely android is fighting verizon with this. hope i helped

Answer: With the iPhone you would be stuck with AT&T and Apple. What a duo! LOL. Androids are developing fast, and the HTC EVO is currently the best. My son and I both have EVOs: 4.3’ screen, 4G capable, HTC-Sense interface, HDMI port, 8MP camera, High-Def video capabilities, limitless Video-Chatting over WiFi or over the cellular network, tethering, FULL multitasking, high quality FREE built-in GPS navigation, plays Flash content, accepts voice input system-wide, amazing customization, live wallpapers, 1GHZ processor, swappable battery, kickstand, etc. On an Android you can install any application you want, not what Steve Jobs wants. Just got an Iphone 4 with verizon and my sister in law just got the droid incredible with verizon we want to video chat on skype so we can see each other but cant figure out how to use it. I have used facetime with my iphone already but i see skype is allot different. I think facetime is only iphone thing, or can droid phones get facetime too? Thank you
Answer: Instal facecall. However, the best option to do is that you download the skype app. Later you click on the side icon while calling "video call" It has always worked for me. My brother has the diamond looking version brand new and perfect! We talk all the time!

I have my phone plan on Verizon. I am thinking about switching from the Droid 2 to the iphone 4. Do you think this is a good move? Does anyone have any pros or cons on switching?
Answer: Verizon's iPhone has gained a bad representation for whatever reason. In all honesty, it is a great phone. iOS is a superior operating system to Google. It's fast, has an amazing camera, and an amazing display. There is seemingly nothing that it can't do (other than simultaneous voice and data, which I have never been on the phone with someone and wishing I could access the internet.) I'd take Verizon's iPhone over a Droid anyday.
