Breaching House decorum, Representative Bobby L. Rush donned a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses on the House floor on Wednesday in honor of Trayvon Martin, the teenager fatally shot in Florida in a case that has gained national attention.
Why does Rep. BOBBY RUSH insist on a having an African-American to replace Obama vacancy?
Ever since Obama was elected as our new President, Rep. Bobby rush from Chicago, who happens to be African-American, has repeatedly came forward and insisted that Obamas Senate seat must be replaced by another African-American. Why? Why must it be so? What ever happened to the voice of the People? Does this mean that Durbins seat, should he decide to resign, must be replaced by another White man? Going for a more racially balanced picture is Rushs argument but why must an African-American occupy the seat? Will this backfire on Bobby rush? By the way, I am also a racial minority.
Truth 101, So, here it is, the truth or, shall we say, your truth? Under your "progressive" agenda, racisim is allowed. If we have to have 1 black senator because 12% of the U.S. population is black, then, what about the Hispanics, Chinese, Japanese, Polish, Irish, Italians and so on? Who represents them? Not so fair now, is it? If these groups numbers arent big enough, they shouldnt, according to your math, have any representation, should they? Senators and Representatives represent the People, not specific races. The skin color or hertiage of the senator should not have any say. The Peoples voices should and should be the only ones that count. President-elect Obama ran as an American, not as a black candidate. Whoever fills his vacant seat must do it in the same manner. Not because he or she is black.

Just because Blacks make up 20% of the country doesnt mean Blacks need to be seen EVERYWHERE! Or apart of EVERY aspect of our country.
Even Dr King would be PISSED OFF at all of this. Letting people vote or live just because of the color of their skin and not the content of their character.

Answer: If Barry succeeds then America and our founding fathers dream with be vanquished. Our constitution and Bill of Rights was intended to insure a Republic, the rule of law that was meant to govern the government, not the people. In other words the founding fathers put limitation on government to insure freedom and prevent government ownership and oppression. Government’s role should be to protect the people and insure that their rights are not infringed. Barry feels like government should have control and ownership. The two philosophies contradict each other. Do you want the government to own you or do you want to own the government.

How racist is U.S. Congressman BOBBY RUSH when telling us that we have to put a black senator in to fill Obama?
To me this sounds very racist to put someone in the Senate just by the mere fact that he is black and there are no black Senators now that Obama is President. Isnt having a black President good enough for U.S. Congressman Bobby rush? Shouldnt Bobby rush be told to stand down and shut his idiotic mouth now that we have a black President? Answer: Because we have "evolved" to the point where we feel that a person's race should be a qualifier for a job (or not to have a job) in our government. Many people seem to believe that it is more important than experience or ability to do the job.
