Youre ROGER GOODELL. What would you do about the incident in the Texans-Titans game on Sunday?
If Im Roger goodell, I suspend both players. However, I would give Finnegan the longer suspension since he started it.
My own opinion: I applaud Andre Johnson for standing up for himself, but I think both players should be suspended. That way, the NFL will send a message to the younger viewers as well as AJ & Finnegan: this is not acceptable.
Answer: I would have suspended Finnegan and not Andre - but the league already went with no suspensions.

What is your opinion of ROGER GOODELL and the NFL lockout?
I think that the commissioner should be impartial in his dealings between the owners and players. Goodell obviously isnt. IMO,hes more interested in money than the game of football.
Answer: I think he is doing his Job. But his job is to lie for the Owners. If the owners wanted to negotiate after the judge lifted the lockout the owners could have said ok but we need to negotiate a new CBA before going forward with the off season.
They are also not allowing the undrafted college players the opportunity to earn a living, that should be enough to stop the Lock Out

Is nfl commissioner ROGER GOODELL more concerned with off field incidents than onfield incidents?
My humble opinion is that Roger goodell gets his tough as nails charcterization for the way he handles incidents off the field. Bill Bellicheck gets caught CHEATING, violationg the very purity of the gamehe governs and The Disciplinarian" gives him a slap on the wrist. Based on his interest I think Roger goodell would best serve the public as an Attorney General and let someone else be the NFLs commissioner.
Answer: If you got hit on the wrist with a $750,000 fine and loss of a first round draft pick, your wrist, hand and arm would get separated from your body.
In a pre-season game, this year, a Steeler lineman got fined for tackling the opposing quarterback!
In the first game of the season, Hines ward of the Steelers got fined for blocking a defensive back while a running back was running with the ball!
I think the commissioner has gone overboard with his on the field fines...with just one team.

ROGER GOODELL?
Anyone else think that he is abusing his power? Hes handed out so many suspensions already. Tank Johnson, Chris Henry, and Pacman Jones. I think Jones is the only one that should have been suspended. I think Goodell is trying way to hard to make people see that he is the boss.
These guys dont ask to be role models. If they get arrested let the law handle it. I agree with Pacmans suspension.. but he hasnt been convicted of anything yet.
Im not apologizing for Pacman. But if he suspends everyone who has a run in with the law theres gonna be no one left. Im curious to see what he does with Vick. He should be suspended too right?
Answer: Well if he's trying to clean up the league the players are not cooperating. Here is a list of the players who have been arrested just this year, This is not including the ongoing investigation with Michael Vick. Obviously the suspensions are not having the desired effects.
Fred Evans-Saturday June 23, 2007-Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Fred Evans was arrested early Saturday. Police twice used a Taser gun on Evans, according to the arrest report, in attempts to subdue the 6-foot-4, 305-pound player. Officers said they asked Evans to leave the taxi and, after he refused, they attempted to put him in handcuffs. He allegedly resisted, leading to the scuffle.Evans was charged with multiple counts of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting with violence, along with single counts of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. One officer was allegedly bitten on the wrist and a female officer sustained scrapes on her left knee, police said.

Tank Johnson-June 22-Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson was pulled over for speeding in Arizona early June 22 and police said they drew blood from the NFL player to determine whether he was drunk. Police said Johnson was stopped for driving 40 mph in a 25 mph zone at 3:30 a.m. on June 22 and the officer made observations that led him to believe Johnson was impaired. The officer had probable cause to make an arrest, Duncan said. Test results aren't expected for up to two weeks, and they would be sent to Gilbert town prosecutors for consideration of any charges.
Last December, police raided the 300-pound defensive tackle's suburban Chicago home and found six unregistered firearms -- a violation of his probation on an earlier gun charge. That charge stemmed from Johnson's 2005 arrest after a Chicago nightclub valet reported seeing Johnson with a handgun in his SUV. He subsequently pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge.
Two days after last December's raid, Willie B. Posey, Johnson's bodyguard, was shot and killed in an early morning fight while he and Johnson were at a Chicago nightclub.
Johnson was suspended by the Bears for one game for being at the club. He played in the Super Bowl as the Bears lost to Indianapolis.
In March, Johnson began his two-month jail stint. Last month, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor weapons charge stemming from the December raid as part of a deal with prosecutors that kept him from serving more time in jail. He was ordered to serve 45 days, which he served concurrently with the sentence for violating his probation.
Johnson already is suspended for the first eight games of the 2007 NFL season after violating probation on a gun violation

Jerramy Stevens-March 2007-The former Seahawks tight end was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana after Scottsdale, Ariz., police stopped him for driving erratically. Stevens reportedly told the officer he had drank "four or five margaritas" at a downtown bar.

He pleaded not guilty in early February.
Ryan Krause-January 2007-The former Chargers tight end was charged with DUI and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. He has pleaded not guilty.
Ross Verba-January 2007-The free-agent guard was arrested by a Wisconsin state trooper on a felony warrant for writing bad checks in Nevada. He paid the $50,000 he owed a Las Vegas casino and the case was dismissed.
Travis Taylor-January 2007-The former Vikings receiver was tasered, arrested and charged with three misdemeanors after he allegedly refused an officer's request to get into a waiting limousine-bus as police tried to clear the way for an ambulance to get through. He has a May 3 trial date.
