Answer: Its going to be sick. Obscura has been one of my favorite bands since i first heard desolate spheres off cosmogenesis. Its going to be very epic and very technical at the same time very experimental sounding when omnivium comes out. They sound more powerful and just slightly tighter. I will preorder it when i get paid next. According to Decibel Magazine: New Necrophagist album in April, New The Soulless in April, New Black Dahlia Murder in June, New Faceless and Decapitated in 2011 (no set date yet), and new Belphegor in February. Also Iced Earth in October, Gorgoroth, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Pig Destroyer, Skinless, and Fleshgod Apocalypse in 2011 (again no set date), Septicflesh in April, and Amon Amarth titled "Surtur Rising" in March. those are the albums im looking forward to in 2011

What is the difference between the pinhole camera and the camera Obscura?
Answer: Vision works with light rays. For example, in your eye, light is coming from the top of your monitor, being limited by passing through a hole at the front of your eye called the pupil, going through your eye's lens for focus, then continuing in mostly the same direction and hitting the the bottom of your retina, the back wall which is covered in light-sensitive cells. In the same way, light comes from the bottom of your monitor and hits the top of your retina, comes from the left and hits the right, and comes from the right and hits the left. (Your brain then flips it around!)
This idea of rays of light from multiple locations in a scene all coming to a point, crossing, and continuing on beyond the hole is important for all cameras.
In a pinhole camera, the rays are directed through a tiny hole and hit a photographic film, changing it chemically. This film can then be used to create a picture (remember: flipped just like in your eye so it will appear correctly).
Camera Obscura was an important invention as it lead to the development of the traditional camera. It uses mostly the same setup, except rather than letting the rays hit film, they're directed against a wall or screen for direct viewing (and often tracing) by people. Sometimes mirrors are used between the pinhole and the screen to flip the image to appear correctly. Most camera Obscura setups were large enough people would be inside the camera!
I hope I did an okay job explaining them. In a nutshell, the only absolute difference between the two is whether or not the camera uses film! (Though small camera Obscuras were rare, and large pinhole cameras were rare).

How do I calculate light meter settings for a camera OBSCURA?
Proper exposure is crucial to pinhole photography. Obviously, the film speed is easy to set (and focal length is easy enough to figure out), but how do you determine the aperture setting?
Answer: F-number is the focal length divided by the pinhole diameter. The "focal length" is the distance between the pinhole and the film. You can measure the pinhole diameter with a strong magnifier and a reticle, or check out a clever solution here:

How can I make a camera OBSCURA?
I was watching a photography show, I think it was The Genius of Photography, and they made a camera Obscura. They didnt use lenses or anything like that, but I dont know exactly how to do it. So, I guess my question is how would I make a camera Obscura without making anything?
Answer: what you need:
a box with a lid of some kind: i recommend a tin cookie box or something similar
something to poke a hole in the box: knife, drill, screw driver, ect- be careful!
small square of foil
black spray paint
tape
light sensitive paper: just normal photo paper used for making prints
how to do it:
the first thing you need to do is to make a light-tight area inside the box (i HIGHLY recommend that you do not use a round box so that when you set your camera down it does not roll!) to make the box a light-tight camera you will need to spray paint the inside black- make sure to paint the inside of the box completely especially if it's tin since tin is reflective.
next make a hole in the box opposit the lid. it will be so much easier to drill the hold here and not into the LID.! it does not matter how big you make the hole!
next take enough foil to cover the hole and use a small needle head to gently poke a hole into the foil- this is best achieved by placing the foil on a hard serface and applying little pressure to the needle as you twist it to make a VERY small hole- the smaller the better! you may need to do this a few times until you get the hole right
then use tape to attatch the foil over the hole. make sure that the hole is completely covered! and do not tape over the hole!!!
(optional but advised)
if you do not want to walk around with your hand over the hole you will need to make a lense cover. you can do this by simply taking some painters tape, duct tape, or that black tape to cover wires and take a long peice and just fold half of it so half is not sticky. tape it with the sticky part attatched to the tin box and have the folded over part on the foil so when you remove it the foil will not rip. you may need to play around with it and attatch another piece of tape to hold the nonstick part down............just do what you think is easiest so the hole is covered and easily uncovered
after you paint the inside and make the hole your camera is finished- all you have to do now is to remove the lid, place a piece of photo paper into the lid while in a dark room- fold tape over and put it gently on the back of the paper so it sticks to the lid and doesnt move while you are taking your picture. put the lid back on TIGHT so that no light gets in and place your camera infront of your subject and uncover the hole.
you will need to play around with the amount of time to uncover the hole
dont get discouraged, you'll need to be patient with it- the first few photos will most likely be over-exposed, but you'll get the hang of it!

Answer: There isn't an ideal size. If you're going to be inside with the image (ie a smallish room) then the aperture would be about 5 - 15mmØ. A box type unit would only need a 0.5~1mmØ hole.
A bigger aperture makes for a brighter but less well focussed image. A smaller one, the opposite applies. It really does depend upon how big you make the camera.

Why is a camera OBSCURA useful in observing a solar eclipse?
Im not quite sure, but is it because our eyes cannot look at the solar eclipse directly but we can look at the projected image of it?
No one really answered my question...
So can you, or can you not look at the projected image of a solar eclipse?
Answer: A camera Obscura is not particularly useful for observing a solar eclipse.
A tiny one would only give a small image and present difficulties in actually seeing the image.
A very large one would give a bigger image but you may need to be inside the device.
It is very safe to look at the image in a camera Obscura, but not to look thru the tiny hole to view the sun directly.
Half the "fun" of viewing an eclipse is to be out in the open to see the reaction of other people, and to view the sun when it is completely covered by the moon.
Special eclipse glasses are a much better option for general viewing of the eclipse in progress.

Answer: This depends on a load of factors such as are you using public transport to get there or do you have a car, how interested are you in animals, are you travelling with small children etc.
If you are travelling with children, everything takes much longer than you anticipate (trips to the loo etc). On your own, you can decide for yourself when you have had enough although it is not cheap to get into the Zoo for instance so you need to stay a while to make it worth it!
There is no way of giving you any idea of a time scale - that's your decision when you get there always allowing for distance, cost, time and transport.
