1) Hilary rosen did not call Ann Romney useless. What she said was she agreed with Mitt Romney's claim that women care more about economic issues than reproductive rights. But Romney's use of his wife Ann's perspective shows how poorly the former Massachusetts governor connects with voters, Rosen said.
Guess what?" Rosen said. "His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She's never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing."
Rosen continued, "There's something much more fundamental about Mitt Romney. He seems so old-fashioned when it comes to women, and I think that comes across, and I think that that's going to hurt him over the long term. He just doesn't really see us as equal."

On January 22, 2003, Rosen announced that she would resign as head of the RIAA at the end of 2003, in order to spend more time with her partner, Elizabeth Birch, and the couples twins (a boy and a girl). She began a television commentator career first with CNBC and then with MSNBC. She signed with CNN in early 2008. Rosen and Birch separated in 2006.

That firm closed when Rosen joined Brunswick. In January 2007, she launched OurChart.com with business partner Ilene Chaiken, creator of the L Word. OurChart.com was a social networking and entertainment site targeted to lesbians and their friends based on the Showtime series, The L Word. Showtime Networks was a financial partner in the website and now controls its content through the L Word TV show website. Her activities with Showtime, coincided with her career in political communications.
Hilary Beth Rosen is a partner in the political communications firm, SKDKnickerbocker with offices in DC and New York; she also is a LGBT activist. Prior to joining SKDK, she was the managing partner of the DC office of the Brunswick Group, a London based PR and communications strategy firm. She joined Brunswick in December 2008. She was formerly Washington Editor at Large for The Huffington Post and was the online sites political director during the 2008 election. She was with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) from 1987 to 2003 and served first as President and then chairman and chief executive from 1994 to 2003. think so little about the work ethic of stay at home moms?
Answer: I was a stay at home dad for 2 years and for 8 years worked and was the main childcare (my wife worked longer hours at better pay) provider for our 5 chidren and I can honestly say I would rather work than be a stay at home dad or even part time work and childcare. Don't get me wrong I love my kids to death, but it is a non-stop job with all 5 having after school activities and doing the errands, shopping, keeping the house clean when they were at home getting them all fed, making their lunches. Also I will tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that 5 are far far more diificult to work with than 3 or less so don't talk if you don't have at least 4.
The problem with people like Haillary Rosen is they think it is empowering to work and be a mother, I can tell you if she was honest and had tried all w working, working and childcare, and just stay at home mom, that she would not have said what she did, especially when the person she is talking about had to deal with MS and Cancer in addition to all the things that come from being a SAHM.
This lady needs a reality check I told my wife what she said and she was furious, She said Hillary represents everything that is wrong how women are viewed in todays society. She said "Hillary Rosen and women like her are whiney bitches who have no clue what it's like to be a real women"

“What you have is Mitt Romney running around the country, saying, Well, you know, my wife tells me that what women really care about are economic issues, and when I listen to my wife, that’s what I’m hearing. Guess what? His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She’s never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing, in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school, and why do we worry about their future.”
