Can you use "Gallery Glass Window Color" with a Stencil? Please read my idea.?

I have a large sheet of glass to work on and I was thinking, 1. Take the liquid leading and block off around where I want the words to go. Let dry. 2. Take a dark color of "Gallery Glass Window Color" and use a Stencil Brush and a Stencil words on to the glass either in opaque leading or a translucent dark color. Allow that to dry. 3. Fill in the area over the words with clear or frosted "Gallery Glass Window Color". Peal off the glass like I do with all my normal projects and stick it on to my front window. Do you think that would work? Would the drying between applications effect the adhesion of the paint to the under layers? Thanks for any advice you can provide! Oh, incase you dont know what Im talking about, "Gallery Glass Window Color" is a liquid plastic that you use to make window clings. How can I measure the voltage of a laser pointer?

For a science fair project Ill be measuring the voltage given off by a laser pointer through a glass filter etc... How can I measure the power of the laser beam? What tools will I need? Answer: Did you try? http://www.google.com/search?q=photocell returns quite a lot of answers, on all levels of complexity. However, a simple photocell won't be able to tell you much about the power output of your laser - at most, you could compare your laser's output with another laser's output (of the same colour and beam diameter) and conclude if it's more or less. In order to actually read your laser's output, you'd have to calibrate your measurement setup (photocell and all), but that would probably exceed the scope od your school project. So you'd need a laser power meter - essentially a photocell, a voltmeter and the calibration. Answer: Instead of googling "man photo glasses ponytail" or something like that I would google "free stock photos" and browse the various sites that have copyright free images (as well as a few for sale.) Then when you get on one of those sites search on "man glasses ponytail." I did that and found a bunch of sites. The first one I check was called sxc.hu and when I searched they did not have any free images, but they did have 5 photos that fit your description and they start at $1 each. Trying to figure out what type of glass plate negative im working with?

I am working on a preservation project and I am currently looking at glass plate negatives. Im having an issue figuring out what type they are. I believe they are dry-plate glass negatives due to the uniformity in size, but I cannot tell the emulsion/gelatin side from the photograph side because there are two plates of glass, instead of just one. Help! Ive google-ed and yahoo-ed and cant find the answers. Thanks!
Answer: Are you sure they aren't positives ? What you describe sounds more like old fashioned lantern slides which were glass plates with a positive image covered by a sheet of plain glass to protect the emulsion surface.

Answer: My answer is probably incorrect, but I would have to say: The Transformers series, because it was was original an American comic/cartoon then it later on gained a Japanese spin-off series, so its technically a non-anime and its recognized by many anime fans. I also believe that Japanese video game series that haven't been turned into animes like Super Mario also qualify as an answer for this since the Mario series is also respected by many anime fans.

Want info on decorating a glass vase with colored glass pieces?

I saw some beautiful vases and I am so eager to make them, as I have several plain glass vases which I could use to stick the different colored square and triangular pieces using a glue gun. Does anyone have a how to website that explains it, or at least a name for such a project. I dont know what search words to use to google it

Where can I get "computer glasses"?

These days, Ive been having eye strain and headaches and I was looking at what causes them and google-ing to see what I can do to help. I tend to use the computer a lot with projects and essays constantly for school So, I saw computer glasses and was wondering how you can get them? They are kind of tinted and reduce glare from the computer giving less eye strain and prevents headaches. Does anyone know where I can buy them? Do I have to get them prescribed? How much do they range from? Do they work well? Thanks!
Answer: People who already wear glasses often require a different focal distance power than what their glasses give them. That is when computer glasses are made. They are based on the prescription the person normally wears to either shorten or lengthen the focal distance so that computer use is more comfortable for them. If you don't wear glasses...then so called computer glasses to" reduce glare and headaches " are just a scam. Some sites sell them as ready made miracle glasses.....that cut glare, cut dangerous rays, ect... First , there IS no glare from a computer screen...glare can only happen on the lenses of your glasses , if you are wearing any. ( without an anti reflection coating ) There are no dangerous rays coming from monitors either. The solution is usually just to turn the brightness down a bit on the monitor to a more comfortable level , and keep the monitor at least 28 inches away , and take very frequent breaks to look around the room to let your eyes refocus to the distance If headaches and eyestrain are a constant problem , perhaps you are due for an eye exam to find out why.
