Answer: If you go with a bigger frame, your lenses will be thicker. This will not only make them less pleasant to wear but will also increase the magnification slightly. For thinnest lenses, go with a smallish round or oval frame. The feature you need to reduce magnification is aspheric lenses.

What type of 3D glasses do I need to view google maps street view in 3D?
Seems that street view is in 3D now but when I search on ebay for 3D glasses theres a whole bunch of different colors.
Answer: I too was wondering this.
I've tried with blue and yellow 3D glasses (if you live in the UK then these were the glasses that were supplied for the 'E4 3D week' and worked on on TV).
The blue and yellow half worked.
I also tried with the 3D glasses they supply in cinemas to watch films like 'Up'.
These glasses did not work at all.
The colours on Google maps 3D are red and blue/green. I believe red and green glasses will work the best. Although red and blue could potentially work ok, which I think is why my blue and yellow glasses seem to partially work.
I'm not entirely sure about this. It's only from my experience. When the 3D was on TV if you looked at the picture without glasses you could see a tinge of yellow and blue around the outside and the glasses needed to view in 3D had one blue lense and one yellow lense.
That's all I'm working on!

Answer: Dang. I thought they were like those cool collector glasses they used to give away at gas stations and fast food chains....and I certainly don't want to fall for that "X Ray Specs" gag again.
